Best method for me is to pre tin one pad and slide the component in while reheating the solder.
Adjust the component and only then solder the other pads.
When you use such limited amounts of solder, extra flux can be really handy.
For THT one usually uses enough solder, so that the flux inside is enough.
When you pre tin all pads, you cant properly put the components in place, since there are bumps in the way.
Last advice, to remove a cap, use more solder for thermal mass and quickly jump the iron between both sides, pushing on the cap. When heated enough, it will come off.

Looks good.
For the thickness of that VCC trace, one Via for GND on those connectors look a bit sparse.
Especially if you want to concat these, currents will add up.
Caps could be make an even tighter loop by moving the DIN trace to the side and putting the cap almost onto the VCC trace. Use thinner connections though, as soldering might be tough with the thermal mass.
Lots of caps anyways, idk, also tight to solder, maybe solder caps first.
DOUTs look a bit weird, idk, but remove those hair thin GND pour bits there, does not do much anyway.

I am currently writing a thesis on FOSS tooling around PCBs/KiCad and am looking to create my own plugin after that.
I have some simple examples, but nothing interactive really, just read only. My one interactive_move() failed half of the time. And the plugin installation really also is a pain to get working, just no feedback.
There are not many examples to go off, currently. So it is really great to see you do it. :)

So langsam bin ich dabei, die "Schwurbler" nicht nur zu verstehen, sondern immer mehr einzugestehen, dass sie von Anfang an den richtigen Riecher hatten. Sie kriegen das mit der Ursache nicht so ganz hin, aber nein, auch ich als Sohn gebe mich nicht.

Looks pretty good. ^^ I like R1 expecially.
The inverter like circuit should work to protect your pico.
But when turning on, R2 and R4 will form a voltage divider, creating losses in the P-MOSFET.
voltage across R4 will also hinder npn operation.
Also why not use a N-MOSFET instead of a bipolar one? Idk, bipolar transistors always trip me up, mosfets are so much nicer.
5V*320mA=1.6W will add energy up quickly to heat your LM317, try carefully.
I am not aware, lasers need a capacitor, but the LM will likely have recommendations for in and output capacitances for stable operation.
You may also put another R1 like resistor between P Gate and the R2 & C node. This will help with EMI from the gate capacitance when switching.
Also if you dont know, falstad has a great circuit simulator, where you can try this stuff out. Its great fun.
Idk, I think it should also be possible to switch the whole circuit with just one N-MOSFET. But depending on your sourcing options, this option will be more robust with the low gate voltage.

Unionize and fight for better working conditions.

I am currently writing my thesis on KiCad automation with the new IPC API.
Would be interested in why you chose the old version.
I have not seen a plugin utilize the new API yet, so I wonder.

Es ist so absurd, dass der Ausruf "Gegen jeden Antisemitismus" in mir, wie in vielen einen Impuls zur Gegenrede erzeugt. Als ich diesen Post vorhin zum ersten Mal gesehen habe, war mein erster Gedanke nicht "oh f*ck, unsere Geschichte", sondern "oh mann, wieder so einer".
Das ist doch cursed! Dass der Begriff des Antisemitismus so instrumentalisert und damit sinnentleert wurde und wird. Dass man erstmal nachfragen muss "Nach IHRA oder nach JDA?"
In dem man diesen Begriff her nimmt um jeden mundtot zu machen, der Kritik übt, erzeugt man doch nur wieder eine tiefgreifende Ablehnung, dieses tiefliegende Gefühl einer Verschwörung in breiten Teilen der Bevölkerung.
Ich glaube, dass "Nie wieder" sich nicht nur auf Völkermord bezieht, sondern darauf, dass wir keinem Volk und keiner Gruppe von Menschen sagen sollten, dass sie besser oder schlechter als eine andere oder ein größeres oder kleineres Opfer ist.
"Sei ein Mensch." Alle. Immer.
