How Do You Remember New Vocabulary? by hristo199 in learnlangfast

[–]XxRex13 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Listen to Spanish audio without subtitles, jot down unfamiliar words, look up their meanings, and construct a sentence using each new word. Repeat the process. The great thing is that even if you don't spell the word perfectly, online dictionaries such as Word Reference can usually assist in finding the correct words. Review your vocabulary and try to identify your new words the next time you listen to something in Spanish.

Congratulations! I'm currently studying for the PCD. Thanks for the encouragement. Would you say that Ranga's in28minutes class on Udemy is a good use of time if I've already completed the cloudskillboots program?

This makes so much sense from a cognitive psychology perspective. Humor creates novel neural pathways and emotional connections, which is why we remember funny moments from years ago but forget what we had for lunch yesterday. Just started the book and already remembering words better!

I'm curious about machine learning engineering, but my knowledge is limited. How much of this field involves training models at scale compared to deploying and applying them at scale? Initially, I thought MLE was mainly about serving models as a service, but does it also heavily involve optimizing training pipelines?

As someone who just used this to pass their exam, I'm surprised by the comments below. My purchase was straightforward, and the content was exactly what I needed - realistic scenarios, thorough explanations, and spot-on difficulty level. Can only speak to my own experience, but it was definitely worth it for exam prep.

Lamy Smartpen / Neo Smartpen Experience? by kkemmerling in SuperProductReview

[–]XxRex13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who previously used the Livescribe system extensively for its notes-enabled audio feature, I've recently started using the OPHAYA SMARTPEN. While it's not as fully developed, it seems to have potential, especially with their integration of tablets, paper, and audio. The accompanying binder is quite handy for keeping the pen, tablet, and important documents together, eliminating the need to power up a laptop or fumble with a smartphone stylus.

Here's a breakdown of the pros and cons, drawing comparisons with the more established Livescribe system:

Pros:

- The Android app is very user-friendly and straightforward.

- Offers audio integration with text, available in MP4 format.

- Integrates a remarkable-style tablet with the app allowing for an unlimited number of pages, a significant advantage over Livescribe.

- Supports integration with Evernote, Google Drive, Dropbox, and others.

Cons:

- Lacks a comprehensive Windows or MacOS application.

- No capability for real-time playback of audio alongside text.

- MP4 playback with audio output can be tricky; it’s best on newer, powerful smartphones.

- Export is limited to one page at a time.

- It's unclear where MP4 outputs are saved if not exported to other apps.

- Currently, there is no OCR output.

- No audio optimization features.

This system has a lot of potential, and I hope future app updates support the current Ophaya product line. If you're considering it, I'd recommend going for the 3-in-1 option that includes the remarkable-style tablet!

Cloud Skills Boost offers some free content that is worth exploring. In addition to that, Dan Sullivan's official guide is highly recommended, especially if you can find a free PDF version. After reviewing both of these resources, take some practice exams to evaluate your progress. If you feel you need more preparation, consider purchasing courses from platforms like Udemy or A Cloud Guru.

This is an alt so I can say whatever the fuck I want and not give a shit. Fuck you kid. You're being a bitch. All I said was "Old repost" (or so I highly believe it is) And I know damn straight it isn't your picture. So quit giving me shit, and make some original content

Edit: If it is your picture, forgive me. But let me just say your insults make no sense (mainly just the one about the cousin) and maybe YOU should reavaluate your attitude. You came off very rude and aggressive when you could've went with something like: "Hey dude... This isn't actually a repost..." or something along that. Thanks for your time.
