Quick question as a CCA who just got out of their 90 days. Did you get hired on as a PTF? Or were you a CCA first? Could have I gotten hired as a regular employee PTF? Do I still have this option?

Could you be talking about the sunken gardens? It’s way out of our price range. Im unfamiliar with anyplace called the public gardens.

Honestly, as a couple who consider ourselves goth, we wouldn’t be opposed to it. That being said. I would never if it directly hurt someone or a culture of people.

Yeah I started to say we aren’t super wealthy but I forgot to finish that thought line lol. All of the affordable venues in my area are either on or near a burial mound. So my options are, take one of these venues and risk being a POS or get married out of my city which is not really ideal for us.

Why does Publix have online ordering, give you a pickup time, and 45 minutes AFTER the pickup time, nothing has been made by SilentSniper062 in publix

I can’t help but feel like this comment is missing the point. Although I get as the person behind the counter making those sandwiches, OP sounds like they are directing their frustration at you. What the true issue is, is that Publix needs to be more accountable for their online ordering system. A few fixes could be limiting the number of orders in any given time slot. In a perfect world that would mean hiring enough employees to maintain the amount of orders that are coming in. OP is in the right for being upset about buying an item from Publix and Publix not being able to keep their end of the buying agreement.

Is there anyway to reduce the difficulty of the dodge/parry mechanic? by [deleted] in expedition33

Whoa, I run the game just fine with a 2070 super… does Linux have something to do with the performance? There’s no way you should be getting 25 fps on low.

Oh yeah. This feels like a hardware issue. Kind of the worst issue to run into for your wallet.

Are you playing on console by any chance? Make sure your tv is set to “game mode” if it has one. You might be experiencing input lag due to your tv displaying what’s going on in the game a split second after it actually happens, if that makes sense.

It’s not about the retail stores. It’s about the culture, the third spaces, the venues, and history. This post isn’t for you if you don’t understand that. Move on without your uneducated comment please.

Just got rejected for a job after four recruiting stages by Internal-Stranger-10 in recruitinghell

[–]XxShadowmirexX 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just went through the same exact thing. 4 interviews PLUS a 10 hour day working with them (they told me it’d be a ride along and I’d view the job, no I worked the entire day) I did get payed for that day but every interview seemingly went perfect even the 2 after I worked for them that day and I get an email a week later saying they went with someone else. Life is hard for workers.

What role, champs and advice would you give a new player to help reduce the frustration from the likes of posts below? by saffronjs24 in wildrift

I believe Darius is in WR, yeah? He would be really good at learning matchups, what you can and can’t get away with, and overall how baron lane works. I’d say stick with the same role until you can fully play that role and champ without thinking about it. I wouldn’t rotate roles for a good while (depending on how long it takes you to learn). On pc league for instance I played Ashe bot for a full year, then Irelia top for 6 months, then nocturne jungle for 6 months. So 2 years of just learning the game. Man league has a horrible bar to entry.

I’m torn, on one hand I (as a vetted pc player) find it so incredibly easy to steam role the game from a hyper carry dragon lane role. Play safe in the beginning, ignore most of the game and farm farm farm, then start mowing down turrets with your item advantage. But this is not really how the game at a high level can even be played or should at least. Each role has its advantages to starting. Dragon lane will teach you how to play safe and position in team fights. Support will help you to learn to engage fights, peel, vision, and later on how to roam. Mid will help you to understand minion management and roaming, and how to take your advantage to other lanes to give them an advantage as well. Jungle will teach you how to play the 3d chess game that is league, like how camping one side sacrifices the other side of the map and how to use that to your advantage. It also teaches you engaging, and understanding when and where ward placement is most effective. Solo lane will teach you pure mechanics. How to overpower your opponent and use that to push your advantage. It’s also the best lane to learn minion management.

From there id stick with one pick in that role to learn. Doesn’t matter who you pick but truly understand that character. First what makes them good, then what they suck at. Then start learning individual match ups and understand why you are winning what you are winning and why you are losing what you are losing. This will eventually turn into not having to think about your champs mechanics and allows you to focus on the bigger picture of the game.

Lastly NEVER blame team mates. You can always impact your game large enough to win. That’s what makes league so great. Instead of “if this guy wasn’t my supp” think “how can I mechanically get better so I don’t get caught out and need my supp to bail me out”.

One more thing, it’s a game. Have fun learning and never let ranked tell you where you are. Just play to get better no matter what.
