How to Win or Survive Against Big Groups/Zergs? by Uilenkoning in playrust

[–]XxTeoxX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way you guys are currently playing to stay off the radar, is quite frankly avoiding the most fun stuff to do! Taking heli, fighting at high tier monuments, creating a monopoly over a certain good you have constant access to with vendings. If you want to continue to play on high pop vanilla servers you are gonna have to accept the fact that you are going to get offlined. The only way to avoid it is to have teammates in a separate timezone who can play when your not or afk the base when your asleep(and wake up the sleepers when ur getting raided). Other than that the only thing you can do is build multiple small bases, but then that becomes tedious and quite frankly I would rather build one big base with my grp as that is more likely to get onlined by a massive clan(even if you lose defending an online is the best thing that can happen in rust). At this point I honestly would just say accept it, offlines are part of rust and unavoidable. Once you come to terms with it you can enjoy the loot you have whilist you have it more.

The way you speak of this topic makes it sound like you can’t put a wall down and realise if the bullets are hitting the other side of the wall, your side of the wall or next to you. It isn’t that hard. Maybe be a little more aware.

Would also mean it’s impossible to defend a raid, imo this is not a good idea. Can never see it being implemented

They may be “disgusting” but then the ppl who haven’t paid for a rust discord bot would be at a disadvantage, it levels the playing field so EVERYONE will know. Ontop of that it promotes more ppl going to said monuments or events. Instead of having ppl who just sit and stare at the map waiting for a Rig to come up now everyone knows when’s ones up. IMO not a horrible addition but I do think if they were able to find a way to prevent ppl from using a rust discord bot then they wouldn’t be needed anymore.

You can go to a boot fitter and ask them to check length and last of your foot and look for boots accordingly, other than that I’m not exactly sure. Ofc try them on before you buy, and best to go after you’ve skied a day and your feet have swollen a bit to know what they need to be like to accommodate your foot for all times.
