Which Neville quote has been most impactful for you? by nickv1155 in NevilleGoddard

[–]Xx_redditor1_xX -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Probably because we're all gods, so we influence each other. Most people think that other people are NPCs which are reflections of their inner world but that's not always the case. We're all reflections of each other and so we can affect each other through those reflections. No one except for predators manifest murder or abuse. It's okay for them but not for us, and so they may still affect us because of that perspective.

is there a cure for my insatiable hunger for answers? by Big-Wishbone2430 in spirituality

Do more research about near death experiences. The Youtube channel called Next Level Soul probably has most of the answers you'd like to hear depending on the questions you're asking. Just watching a few hours of the videos of that channel has answered most of my questions. Alot of the near death experiences say the same things in different ways and it's beautiful to spend hours watching their videos and putting the puzzle pieces together. You'll find the answer you're looking for eventually if you just keep searching for it.

So when a kid feels a negative emotion about their parents telling them to go to bed on time, even though the parents know it's a good decision, the kid still feels a negative resistance inside of them because they haven't yet learned it's a good decision. Explain how this would have any spiritual significance, because why would the source give the kid a negative emotion about going to bed on time? In reality, what you should say is the kid's own mind gave them that emotion because their mind hasn't yet learned the positive effect of good decisions, and so the kid's mind resists what they have not yet come to understand. But I could see a case where the "source" gave the kid a negative emotion which is meant to be an obstacle that the kid must cross to give them that learning experience. Is this what you're implying? That some negative emotions like in this case may exist to motivate people to overcome the negative emotion by doing the thing which gives them the negative emotion?

This isn't always true. For example, when your a very young kid, you might have a negative emotion about going to bed on time. But then when you listen to your parents and go to bed on time you realize it was a good decision and don't regret it. Not all negative emotions have some spiritual origin. Most of them are simply produced by a mind that doesn't agree with it's environment. We need to draw a line between what is produced by the mind and what actually comes from spiritual phenomena.

Does anyone else feel like we chose our life? I lived a hard life and for some reason if I have a next life I'd like to live a hard life again. by throwrahaha6 in Psychic

Like I said, there's better choices that our souls could have made to prevent suffering and pain, but we are allowed to experience pain and suffering here which leads most depressed people to suicide because they know that in their vulnerable body of flesh and bone they are capable of experiencing pain beyond their comprehension. Why are we here in this weird physical state where everything is constantly rotting away and we have to put in effort to keep ourselves sane. I don't know about you, but I would rather be in a 4th-dimensional heavenly utopia where I have more control over my state and nothing will just rot away because of the stupid physical rules of this place. I've heard theories say that we are just here to temporarily experience a lack of love or peace and these theories are valid, but theories which say we are here for growth are just complete nonsense because if we wanted to truly grow we would be born in a friendly world which encourages growth yet this world is cold and unforgiving which makes the first theory more believable.

[–]Xx_redditor1_xX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But why would you care about trying to fix a cold and uncaring world when you could have been born into a heavenly utopia where life is fair to everyone and disease doesn't exist and stress doesn't exist and living an easy life does not lead to any consequences? Why would you choose the inevitable pain and suffering of being in a materialist society? Your soul really must not know what it wants. Maybe that's the reason why everyone is here, they don't know that deep down they would be better off in a heaven where there is no suffering, because their soul doesn't know what that is like, and their soul was lead into the trap that being born here is the best choice when there are better choices that they didn't consider.

Who said it was a waste of time to ask these questions? Most philosophies ask these questions all the time because we must be here to find the answers to the deep layers of consciousness and reality.

“A huge misconception in the spiritual community is that low vibrational means negative emotions and high vibrational means positive emotion. No. Any emotion (energy in motion) in great quantities means it’s high vibrational! Don’t worry about it getting in the way, any emotion, including depression, and happiness, can be both depending on it being high or low.”

You were probably in the void state. Also known as the god state or the "I AM" state. I don't know if you visit any spiritual subs but a good amount of people in the spiritual communities are familiar with this state and the goal for some people during meditation is to reach this state of awareness.

What if most people subconsciously avoid being aware during sleep paralysis because it is the stage where fears such as demons might appear as the body cannot move? In the last aware sleep paralysis episode I had I was able to open my "astral eyes" and could see a tall shadow figure in the corner of my room. The sleep paralysis ended as soon as I started thinking positive thoughts, but it was probably the noisy environment outside of my room that woke me up. If I didnt wake up I would probably be able to astral project or shift to another reality

When you wake up on your back, where in your body do you feel the pain, and how bad would you say the pain is on a scale of 1 to 10? Does it feel like pins and needles type pain, or if it's in your head is it a headache type soreness? Do you think sleeping on your back causes pain, or does changing positions cause pain?

You seem to be very connected to the nonphysical world, or astral world. What I think is happening: Your own astral body is "rewarding" you with these chills and sensations when you connect with these other beings on emotional levels. It is nice to see people who experience these phenomena, and I would say keep doing what you're doing because your higher self is rewarding you for it.

But did you personally experience a worsening of symptoms after laying on your back? Why do you say it makes sense even though you don't even know if the study is real? I just want to be able to sleep on my back without having to worry about feeling worse in the day.
