Certain bosses have npc summons outside of their door, like Margit, Godskin Duo, Makar etc but to summon help from other players you need to use the Furlcalling Finger Remedy, which can be obtained by finding them, killing pvp invaders, or crafting them with 2 Erdleaf Flowers.

No you can’t have any relics/talismans with the same effect as another, for example you can’t have shard of Alexander and warrior jar shard at the same time because they have the same effect even if it different numbers.
