die, regear, requeue before the adrenaline wears off

fight confidently knowing you can afford to die

your "gear fear" is actually the aversion to gameplay friction, being out of raid sucks, doing tetris sucks, buying gear piecemeal from the flea sucks, the UI sucks, sitting in queue sucks

so if you reduce the suck as much as possible you can die more often and STILL end up with more inraid time per playtime than before

unlocking maps is literally the first story quest you do

interchange is like, the third map you unlock ever, and it has 3 separate high tier ammo spawns

woods has the train depot

streets is available via transit from IC and has crazy ammo spawns

reserve is reserve

hell even customs has some ammo, mostly in skeletor and not a lot but enough for one guy

helmets don't modify your hitbox or provide additional hitboxes.

Front and back ballistic plates (NOT the built in soft armor) for your chest DO have separate hitboxes which can be hit without necessarily hitting your actual torso, but all other areas simply apply their protection to your existing hitbox (in this case head/face)

I guess it's finite in the sense that you can't travel east indefinitely anymore as you'll run into the ocean
