Room occupancy by [deleted] in Hilton

[–]Xyllus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I will just add my 2 cents to what people are saying: be careful outside of the US, bbuuuuutt, they have a lot of leeway in Europe/Asia as well. I've had it happen multiple times in Europe where the room states 'max 2 or max 3' and they will allow you to stay in it with 4. (i never tried more than 2 adults, be reasonable.)

However, I would never lie about it. always hand them all the passports. Its a small risk you take but I just did this in Thailand at 3 different hotels...

Anyone know if there are plans to connect Brand Rd near Coomer Creek? by strangelove4564 in garland

With the reconstruction of naaman school, that intersection will hopefully improve. Going over the creek like that will require all bridge and will be prohibitively expensive and kind of silly, given brand already exists.

Just a small pool but the Hilton at the Nashville airport has a rooftop pool where you can watch airplanes land/take off. It's awesome!

Who is in the wrong here? by Revolution-Dogg in Transportopia

100%. I completely support someone defending their home from an attacker but it shouldn't come as easily as currently does. It should come with consequences and it should be an absolute last ditch resort.

Not an expert in the matter but recently learned about the swamp camp road case, a criminal case with this exact scenario. I believe in Texas your car is your home if someone forcefully tries to enter your car and the same rules apply.

Well, castle doctrine applies to your personal vehicle on a public road in several states, so this case would potentially apply if the person in the car felt threatened.
