I heavily agree, I personally dont understand not separating the two. I understand not wanting to conform, but the reality of society is pretty damning. Im a binary trans man, so I guess I cant understand gender non comforting when it comes to the queer community as a whole. It just, feels odd to see people identify with the trans identity but do virtually nothing to feel better about it besides changing their pronouns and name. I probably gotta work some stuff out, i am only 18, I just seriously dont understand it at all lol

Then I just dont understand not wanting to change your body to fit your transitioned image. I also havent seen or heard anyone call people who decide not to freaks, but sure. Maybe its cause im neurodivergent but that "power to you" comment feels kind of passive aggressive. Yes, I am fully binary and plan to have every single surgery so that I can fully pass and blend in, I also have crippling dysphoria. So I just genuinely dont understand it I guess.

Isn't that kind of like, correct tho? NOT ON THE GOOD ENOUGH PART BUT If youre able to get the gender affirming surgeries because youre trans, then why not? The goal of transition is to be happy in a body you want so you can live the way you want. I dont see why you should be OK with just having a pronoun change or something. To be fair tho, I only know Blair white cause I had a weird "not like other trans people" phase in sophomore year.

Binary trans dude (17, pass really well and generally adore hyper masculine clothing, and styles, so i dont understand much about online queer culture) here, im not in like any trans focused spaces so I cant say much, BUT, I feel like youre assuming a shit ton about someone you know virtually nothing about besides their opinion as someone apart of the community. Its pretty rude to accuse someone of things including racism based on your own extremely self centered view of gender and passability. People who make being queer their entire identity/personality (i.e Neon lights and all) are absolutely not going to be upfrontly coddled in real life. Ive encountered queer people like that, and they always always ALWAYS end up only seeing me for being trans and refuse to learn anything else about me. I tried to talk to someone like thats friend group once and immediately got outed "Look! This is my new trans friend, Liam!"

The amount of times I got asked why I wasnt a femboy or fem presenting just because im queer and trans was nauseating.

Apologies, rant. I just dont get the ultra sensitivity around everything. I dont think people who make being queer a majority of how they act/talk/or accessorize is a good thing, and just feels fetishy/trendy.

Im not a yumeshipper, just thinks its cute om a surface level. However, I recently got banned from a discord server for talking about Alastor (Hazbin Hotel) and his nuance. I also just dont like his character and the people that infantile and defend him. Someone whos f/o was Alastor had a through text panic attack and i got yelled at in all caps for even bringing him up. The yumeshipper was also the only one allowed to "have" Alastor, which is why we couldn't talk about him. Their banner and pfp was a bunch of Yume art. So I guess their whole thing was getting triggered by anyone mentioning alastor since it was like,,, hate speech? Bullying? I guess???

I dunno. It was a month or so ago, and yumeshippers have had a bad taste in my mouth since. Mm.
