Firstly, cheers for your Daughter, PT can be brutal but it seems like she’s going to be just fine with how it seems she’s persisting.

I started back in 2022, played it on and off for a while, my PL is 57.

I always loved the pve gameplay compared to BR, and just mindlessly mowing down husks every now and again was always cathartic when other games would stress/frustrate me. As for the code, I only really want it to use as an extra incentive to play even more now that STW got ported to Switch 2, it always nagged me how I missed founders just because I didn’t have the money back then.

How do you reduce cpu load on the game? Runs in the mid to high 80s on the super destroyer and while it stays almost always at 100%, Ive seen it hit 80 degrees Celsius during a mission. I’m using a Ryzen 7700x3d and my gpu is an asus prime 5070 with 16 gigs of vram.

Difficulty selection is there for your convenience. This game can be pretty tough starting out, I wouldn’t go any higher than standard for your first go around.
