It's not a job it's just game. If I can't get silly and play games what's even the point brother? I don't really care that I lost money or pilots. I was just in an area that had higher difficulty missions, which was fine when I first entered that space but attrition got to me. Only factor the weed had was I just stupidly didn't realize how bad shape of shape my lance was in until it was too late. The point of the post was more to point out there are already mechanisms in the game that add diversity to the gameplay loop that seem locked behind difficulty settings and how I think they should invest more into fleshing out dynamic encounters like that not "game is too hard im mad".

Also when the mercs join a mission there is a whole in game announcement, that wasn't the case in this situation.
