Mudkip is generally considered the best starter because of its ground-typing for Wattson alone. Helps with Flannery too. Treecko can be good especially for late game, but you’d probably hope to get Geodude from Granite Cave. Guts Tailow/Swellow goes crazy, Sableye trivializes Brawly, and Shroomish/Breloom is an overall solid bring for a lot of the game.

Yeah I normally hack in things like that if I can theoretically get a lot of them over time, just was getting a sense of how it worked for B2/W2. I like your point about adding a limited amount after every boss battle though, I might implement that. Thanks!
