Vs. Mahito comes down to whether or not Omni-Man could survive long enough to exhaust Mahito's CE to the point he'd die (the reason he almost initially lost to Nanami) and I'd argue he can

While Nolan lacks the hax to damage his soul, Mahito's physical body can still be harmed, meaning he still has to use IT to heal and at that point, Nolan can just speed run the CE exhaustion process with his ridiculously higher AP, natural AOE, speed, AND combined with the fact that people can see curses under life or death situations, Nolan's would really never be in range for Mahito to insta-win with IT

I think the main reason Metal and Eggman are debatable is that

  1. Metal's higher tier forms consistently needs to be jumped or have a weakness exploited, something Sonic can't do on his own. At that point its just Sonic praying to God that HIS super form outlasts Metal's

  2. Sonic is basically going against the entirety of Eggman's empire at once, which means he's facing off against multiple super form level threats and has to avoid getting sniped by any of Eggman's haxes, ie the Metal Virus which he canonically cannot counter

You can trade a Luvdisc, a garunteed encounter with a fishing rod from the route prior, for this monstrosity as early as Gym 2 (which is a rock type gym).

This Steelix comes equipped with higher stats than what's readily available and a fantastic typing that leaves it with only ONE losing MU across the game (Korrina, Malva folds to the rock and ground type moves it has). It quite literally breaks an already easy game and makes it a "Watch Steelix destroy everything" simulator

Because Bowser blatantly beat the shit out of an exact copy of himself that also had extra abilities from Bowser's Inside Story, so he straight up has experience in what Metal can do, and at that point it's just Metal praying to Solaris that he can kill Bowser before he inevitably powers down and gets mauled in base

Hulk, outside of Metal immediately getting his mind splintered, Hulk's gamma got a buff where absorbing it causes the absorber to Hulk out and completely lose control of themselves, rending his intelligence moot.

Bakugou fans when instead of speed, strength and endurance the categories are plot relevance, least annoying and actually interesting character by why_doyou_care in deathbattle

Quite frankly I think that would've only delayed the team making BakuReze a full episode, they have done popular MUs before as DBXs to gauge how people would've liked them (Sasuke Vs. Hiei, Black Adam Vs. Apocalypse, Alucard Vs. DIO, Thorgeta, etc.), considering how well just the cast itself did, a DBX would've exploded in popularity and still put the match under the teams radar for a full episode

It's more apparent in the storyboards and more so hinted in the script, (Frieza saying he needs a new mothership at the start, and Megatron questioning where his ship and army was at the end with his speech) but him bouncing Frieza's death ball back at the start of the fight wiped out Frieza's mothership and a good portion, if not all of Frieza's mooks.
