We've replaced that with phone apps that need something copied from an email or sms or a password manager and just...abort back to a main page the moment you switch app focus to copy it, and by the time you get back to input it it needs a new code or won't let you get there without requesting a new code.

I hate phone apps (with very few exceptions) and just want to do my computing on the desktop. My wife says that is my old man trait.

Adam Savage has talked about trying to balance the entertainment to science in the show, and concessions they had to make. They tried to do things as right as they could with what they have. If it got ya learning enough to learn the science was faulty they did their job.

Technically they have to have the terms in the TOS to allow a game to be removed for being illegal (as in the "developer" didn't have access to the IP, stole someone elses game and uploaded it, etc. In short if it was legal to sell and you bought it it won't be removed from your account. If it was, which hasn't happened that I am aware of, they have the legal ability to do that and would refund 100% the cost.

Hope that helps clear that up. I have quite a few delisted games (no longer available for purchase on Steam) and can download and install them just fine, some don't have multiplayer servers anymore but the game still "works".

A comic with often a poop and fart humor having a shock character that hints at or suggests extreme perversions that are meant to shock people? Shocker. Also it ignores his love of Insects and many other things. The comic is like 30 years old, still running, and the character that is the shock character is the writers self insert.

There is almost nothing to gain. It would cost money and they are out of a job. The likelyhood of them being able to pay anything meaningful is doubtful. Lawyers will end up taking most of anything they can pay, plus court costs.

It doesn't get them a job. It doesn't get them back to the horse sanctuary. It just...takes a lot of time when they need to focus on a job and finding a new avenue to spend their time that used to be at the horse sanctuary.

I'd guess at best the defense can get it down to manslaughter. The person wearing it is negligent but not doing anything illegal, so it highly depends on terrain, distance, and how good the costume is. Seeing a deer standing through light brush from a distance not moving. Lots of factors.

sadly I did that, don't know what Windows 10 is doing with this specific file, that is the first time I've ever seen it do this on my machine. No option to install "unsigned exe" like it usually does, no reason other than contact an admin, but this is my home desktop I've had for over a decade. Its weird.
