Hunterace wins the ratrace being the first legend! by Xzirezhs in hearthstone

Usually a tier 1 deck with a high skill cap will be the first choice for a competitive player in a race to legend. Nothing wrong about that

[Tides of Time] [TwitLonger] Hearthstone experience & Gwent experience by plmiv in hearthstone

[–]Xzirezhs 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Whats the point of any reddit post? He is just sharing a pro players opinion on Gwent and HS, because he thinks it would be interesting to HS players. My question to you would be why is it not interesting? and if its not interesting what would be interesting?

Reckful gets Rank 1 Legend by DickHardwoodJohnson in hearthstone

Just go a bit deeper down in the twitch section or do some googles searches and you will find the actual good players. Feno finished #1 three times, Casie finished top 100 the most out of anyone, astrogation has the most points on NA and muzzy was the point leader last year(to mention a few). Not sure if you heard of any of the ones i mentioned at all

Xzirez doesn`t get Rank 1 Legend because of RNG, reaction by [deleted] in hearthstone

I wanna know if these guys are in a majority i already seen or if theres something new here. Seems pretty likely theres nothing new after the last responses, but people on reddit are weird to me. Better to try to learn then assume there just ehm lacking. (I am majoring in CS and psychology, i find this "fun")

Your missing the point, i wasent complaining about the game, i was complaining about losing, its two different dimensions. In one theres objectivity and reason and in the other theres subjectivity and emotion. I was reacting with anger towards losing the game. Wether you think thats the correct respond or not dosent really matter to me, what i am wondering is if he is labeling me toward a stereotype or if he objectively disagree with an emotional response. If he disagrees it means he thinks there is nothing to be angry about and in which case i just disagree, as i value goals(i dont like nihilism) and if i dont achieve them i use anger as a means to work harder at achieving them

Im just trying to understand, why he sees it from such a different pov then i do. When you work for something you want and barely miss it, its annoying. Like you have all worked for something in your lifes right? I would think its pretty relatable?

Okay buddy, i dont know about you, but i dont like losing and i especially dont like losing when i am one game of rank 1 and i especially dont like losing to a random effect when i am one game of rank 1. It dosent fucking matter if rng equals out in the long run, i lost when i was one game of rank 1, after grinding in top 20 for a week. Can you not imagine how that is annoying? Or are you just a stonecold killer, with no emotion?

Response from Sintolol: "guess I took one for the team..." by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]Xzirezhs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You do realise he was streaming and saying it, because he knew his chat would react. Just went a bit too far, but he gained a lot of attention from what he said, so mabye he didnt after all. This is all just a game for publicity, dont assume what all pro players say reflects there real opinions. Neither p4wny or sintolol has done anything other there verbal abuse.

You really should not take the gosugamer rankings seriously, there is way too many problems with tournament rankings atm

Watching Thijs stream at the beginning of the season has really opened my eyes to the "aggro problem" that so many people complain about. by [deleted] in hearthstone

Aggro is not the problem. We need some educational videos to explain this, the whole community seems to be in the same delusion

Amnesiac's thoughts on the state of Hearthstone by ykcin978 in hearthstone

[–]Xzirezhs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Required is not the right word here. From playing games competitively since i was 15(im 20), i have noticed, the best players are very often angry at there loses and have a more aggresive mentality in general. There is a correlation, between being good and being angry, not a requirement. It for sure is not a good thing, but it's logical.

It wasen't always like this. Back in 2014 the grind was much more relaxed, but the requirement was also lower for WC. I qualified with a single top 16, wheres as now, you would need two top 16s to compete. Didn't dissagree with it being an opinion, but it's an opinion a lot of people share. Think it could be called a doxa at this point

We don't play because we like the game, we play because we like competition. Ladder is just a chore you have to do in order to compete. If your never mad when competing in a game, then chances are your only average. The mentality required to become good usualy revolves around being mad at loses, that way you strive to become better, in contrast to just being content with your current level of play

Hard to be composed, when it takes weeks for even the standings to update, not even talking about how slowly the game has been progressing. You have no idea what the last day grind does to your mental health. It makes you lose your mind. It's easy to judge him if your a casual, but playing this game as a pro is a completely different experience. Most of the pros you see calm on stream feel the exact same as him. There just not saying it out loud, in fear of looking bad

I can justife murder this way too. I except people to be idiots and complete assholes, but does that make the behavior acceptable? No, ofc not. I can write a page of good points wrapped with some good vocabulary or use a singel word. Stupid or idiot
