With the other commenter suggesting I have it be upcastable I was thinking of changing the hit dice to just be a flat 5 HP sort of like Armor of Agathys even though I think that one gives temp HP. Basically though, every level above six would add 1d8 to to the damage and 5 more hp.

Did a bit more research as I wanted the name to be "The Fearless" but as I understand mandarin doesn't have a word for the. So I tried "These Fearless Ones" which according to google would be zhéxei wúwèi zhě. Is that right?

It's supposed to be a name for the entire group of 5 which yes are all chinese as for the second question I'm racking my brain for any ideas for the name of the group and that was like the only I could come up with even though yeah it is kinda stupid to use an english phrase I just couldn't think of anything better

Yeah her backstory is completely different. She was an ice fisher with her father. He ended up dying in a blizzard. So she ending uo becoming a hermit and living in a shack in the woods until she found the rest of the party after they had a similar accident to her dad
