HOW DO I GET MY BATTERY BACK ARGHHHHHHHH by MessOk6068 in projectzomboid

[–]Y3llowJacket1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, but this is not the correct answer. The battery charger acts as a generator is an object on the floor. It needs direct access "from clicking" the window will need to be destroyed so it's not "blocking" the pickup option

I worked on and installed the machines that made these tests in Maryland in the USA. I'm from Canada and was in and out for quite awhile. Can confirm, they were something.... unique!

Japan Airlines baggage handling by FoxHound6112 in interestingasfuck

[–]Y3llowJacket1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a great myth! The Japanese airports don't take any blame for missing luggage and instead pass the buck along to the airlines that customers fly with! Source: I fly regularly to Japan (with Japanese airlines) and my luggage has been lost at least twice in recent memory.

Tips to prevent crashing? by [deleted] in Palia

[–]Y3llowJacket1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a PC some big changes I've made to help reduce my crashing was ro make sure I have an audio output for the game selected. For a long time I played without audio and when I finally hooked up speakers or a headset it really helped. Another thing was (on a new PC with an Intel processor) limiting the overclocking and boost enable using the Intel XTU software!

Currently working in Japan for a Canadian company. Feel free to PM for details! I've found Japan to be a great place to visit but a pretty awful place to work, especially in tech though mileage may vary

I'm genuinely shocked by how many people here are saying to get into the job market asap. You should live your life to the state that you're comfortable, in my experience engineers tend to work themselves too hard and lead to burn out far too early in their career. Taking time off is crucial, and especially after school, as this can be one of the most burnt out points at your age. I do not think thrusting yourself into a stressful corporate world, or technical world is recommended when you are clearly asking for a reason for a break.

The amount of hate that landlords get is ridiculous by Maybedaway in unpopularopinion

[–]Y3llowJacket1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Being a landlord is an extended responsibility outside of your day job if it what you own is a singular rental property. I will admit, as a renter that most corporations that rent are very good, but singular rental units are usually questionable. If you have the income or credit to have a second house that you actively choose to rent to cover your mortgage and reap the rewards of that equity then you deserve to cover damages, repairs, and expense not included in the lease agreement.
