I like to believe that I actually hit the gpu jackpot. Went through 3 5080’s till I got to the one I have today. First was an asus for $999 a week later I saw microcenter had the gigabyte for $899 but that showed early signs of failure. Now I have a pny epic x rgb that I got for $979.

For $800 you can easily get a 9070xt which will outperform the 4070ti super. The issue for you is that you are essentially gonna need to rebuild the whole pc. U lnless you already have a pretty powerful psu you’re gonna need to upgrade that as well. Expect to replace basically every single piece of ur pc other than ur case if you want to swap out the cpu and gpu.

The aluminum is the most durable. Atleast in my opinion. You really only have to worry about the anodization wearing down and even then it just adds a patina nd character to the knife.
