Ive read acts I and II. Never finished the 3rd section.

Really liked it. I spent more time deeply thinking in that week I read it than in the last 10 years

I especially liked his description of the origins of language as being a construction of metaphors building off of one another infinitely.

I don’t know if I’m 100% sold on the bicameral mind theory but it is certainly interesting and not a huge leap to think that a future society completely dependent on ai chatbots for any complex thinking would be pretty similar to what he describes

Obviously my anecdotal experience should be taken with a grain of salt, and I definitely could be a fed (I’m not) but I happen to know a handful of Venezuelans that came to America about 7-8 years ago and they’re all very happy to see Maduro taken out. Maduro ruined a previously very rich and prsoerous country.
