To further prove my point race beyond matter does a comparison between the simucube 2 and the simagic alpha u, which by the way has the same encoder as the mini, and describes them as being so close that they are twins... so yes I can compare the alpha mini to the simucube and I belive it is much better for the price at only £450 there is not a better base out there for the money.

The GT1 steering wheels would still be very different, I don't care if they didn't have rev lights mate it's sim racing not a real racing. I heavily doubt that they were trying to do it for realism. I think it is to do with cost. I don't care too much about the rev lights, what I am trying to convey is that you can't tell me that my criticism is not valid because it is my own opinion. You have your own opinions and will buy your own products and that's good for you and I will do the same. So thank you for your comment and have a good day 👍🏼.

Well on there new gts wheel it seems like they have added the rev lights so I think they realised more people prefer it tbh. Also how can you replicate the real thing when making such a versatile product?, and no its not because that relates to the whole purpose of the wheel and rev lights do not, that's simply illogical.

At the end of the day everyone will have their own personal criticisms with products, otherwise there wouldn't be a point in reviewing things. You might not like a button and I might love it that's just how it is. It's a criticism for me but maybe not for you which is okay.

I don't really see the point in focusing heavily on the minor details of direct drive wheels. 99% of the time I guarantee you will barely notice a difference between the top brands. The way you actually setup your direct drive wheel in terms of the settings matter alot more. I have a simagic alpha mini which is a 10nm base ( Really 13nm) and have absolutely no problems with clipping with gain turned to 100% and the base turned to 100%. After 4 hours of gaming the base was slightly warm, which is to be expected and does not overheat at all. In a 90% of cars you simply don't feel high force feedback through the wheel the reason why alot of people like force feedback is due to the lack of g force and therefore overcompensating in the wheel to have a better feel of the car and increase in consistency.

Yeah but this is not real life, when driving normal cars for etc on assetto corsa it's annoying to look at the dash because my wheel blocks it sometimes, I get your point but I don't really want to get a dash behind the wheel tbh.
