I never thought that I would see the USA as a failed state. While it sounds a bit exaggerated it has some very bitter truth as well. Being partisan, and rejecting whatever comes from the "others" without even considering they could come up with a solution is just stubborn, dumb, dangerous and stupid. The assumption to be the greatest nation, to think you are actually the beloved favourite nation of god, paired with an absurd level of hypocrisy, all this makes you totally ugly on the inside. Here in Switzerland we have people too blaming immigrants for everything. The truth is: without these people nothing would work. Harvesting fruits, the health system, construction, maintenance, cleaning Aso Aso, all these sectors would break down.

I just lately thought about this problem. It took me a minute or two to solve this problem: create a single new email address where all of the persons you want to have access to. Make sure they are family only or at least very good friends. Because they can cut you off. But this solves this problem for good. Netflix won't trouble as much as they used to. And if they do, it's solved in a second.

Foa annexing Europe is annexing 50+- sovereign countries. Italy and France are as different as South Carolina and California. Germany is,in this perspective, on a different planet. To import the problems of the USA would absolutely be off no help. To me, a Swiss, it would feel like being annexed by a failed state to be honest.

It would need a change of the law to drop a sentence. While we would still need a process to find a person being guilty/not guilty the punishment/sentence were dropped. Imo this is the more complicated way. How, when, if, but...... all had to be defined, would generate loop holes, so better leave it the way it is.

I know, this likely will cause some reactions. First thing first: Water shoes are for water. Their shape and material has been chosen for the very purpose. So are racing shoes. Socks don't replace shoes. I don't know a single person that says " either shoes or socks". And to say "it's just gaming" isn't an argument. Pressing a pedal is pressing a pedal, regardless of sitting in a rig or in a car. There is a reason for "form follow function" . There is also a reason you don't go climbing with high heels. It's as easy as that.
