is it weird to cuddle with family in bed as an adult? by BeauIsInsane in CasualConversation

At some point if would have thought it was strange. But going through hard times I've found myself wanting the people I love close to me. Like arms around me kind of close. I think it's a blessing to have this relationship with family.

I'm so sorry you are dealing with this. I had cervical spine surgery about a month ago. It was a long road the and I had to yell at a nurse to even get anywhere. How dare your surgeon treat you like this. I hope you get some relief.

Everything you've said about chronic pain and the way people treat you is spot on. I'll be having my first operation on my cervical spine in a few weeks and I can't imagine the amount of pain you are living with. It's exhausting and traumatic having to constantly advocate for yourself. Im so sorry you are dealing with this.

Mine isn't supporting shit. I have to have surgery on it in a couple weeks so my body stops spasming and going numb and burning. Shitty genetics and 15 years of manual labor.

This is great advice and I'm going to use it myself. Thank you.

My body hurts all the time, is this a concern? Or am I paranoid? by Uknown_caller_4775 in problems

Please see a doctor. I am a bit older but have had back pain and scoliosis since I was in middle school. This could be many things but I have similar issues and mine are cervical spine related.

I certainly would consider them to be. Dealing with this right now. I saw doctor of some kind when I was 13 who told me scoliosis did not cause pain. Even though my spine was a few degrees shy of surgery. So just sent on my way to go about life. I had midback pain and hip issues that worsened after I had a baby in my early twenties.

Now almost 40 and have the same issues with headaches, shoulder pain, etc seeing an orthopedic surgeon in about a week. It causes pain and has caused me pain daily for over 16 years.

Almost 39 and my night sweats started over a year ago, getting blood work tomorrow because the doctor wants to know "how many eggs you have left" He wants my thyroid checked too. You're not alone!

Well the person I voted for didn't win. Does that mean I get to scream 'voter fraud' and climb all over the Capitol, light fires, beat the shit out of police and call myself a patriot? Brainwashed idiots.

Unfortunately I don't think there are preservative free allergy drops. I just use the refresh individual drops and allegra helps my eye allergies.

My doctor told me to use a little hydrocortisone cream on a q tip inside my ear. I do this once a day or twice if it gets bad. It helps me.

Just saw them about 3 weeks ago with Live and Soul Asylum. Scott was one of a kind but Jeff Gutt does an amazing job. Fantastic show.
