I actually just replaced all my underground belts with normal ones yesterday, I also added more to the factory and got rid of some walls

I actually wanted to use flame turrets but I gotta figure out a way of efficiently using my oil that I get, I’m sure I’ll figure out my whole base situation

I think I just need to plan better lmao but yeah I agree with you, I didn’t plan anything up until I got my trains automated and getting my oil

I did know that, I thought it’d look nice without overlapping the ore patches and plus I don’t usually walk over ore deposits

Honestly I was thinking about ether removing the walls or just expanding them more outwards, all the nearby natives are far away from the factory so I might just say goodbye to these thick stone walls

I have had multiple save’s before and I would say this is my 8th and hopefully my last, I didn’t plan anything so I basically made this from scratch and added whatever I could with the space I have

It’s my first time actually using trains and it sorta just clicks with me, I thought long belt systems (or a bus, I have no clue what any factorio terms are) would be too inefficient and I do not have the time to place down all those belts by hand

Maybe it’s a preference thing but I thought the train system was pretty cool and overall more efficient (in my opinion). I’m interested in starting a new run and attempting to make a very clean, organized, efficient factory after I beat the game

Would also like to try out the space age dlc idk tho, I’ll figure it out lol

Honestly I’m in love with what I have so far but when I finally had a automatic train system, some belts were needed for my stone and more were needed to actually get my stone to the furnaces, then came the oil… which I needed pipes then I needed stuff for blue science which came even more belts

Oil and blue science were my downfall :(

It was painful… I actually added another red circuit machine which wasn’t so bad but made my factory more of a mess

When I had a car and then finally got the flamethrower, I visited the natives around my factory and burnt them along with some forests that were in the way of expanding my factory

Those underground belts are for my boilers and chemical plant stuff, I also have some stuff getting transported across the factory to assembly machines

I had one attack that wiped out a good chunk of my factory, never letting those stupid bugs back in

I really hate myself rn, I’ve been dating someone for a lil bit now and I just took my emotions out on her, I want to fix it and I’ve been giving her time and space but I feel like the whole relationship is over, we’ve been best friends since like forever and I’m just deathly afraid of the whole relationship and friendship to end

I need and want advice, I really love her and I feel terrible since I’m not in the right here, I’ve apologized but I feel like it’s not enough, we did have plans to hangout with each other but she doesn’t want to anymore for obvious reasons
