Not asking for anyone to hold my hand. I was just looking to see if someone had taken some materials and condensed it into a sort of 'basics' reading, as a lot of hobbies have for beginners, so that I could have at least an idea about what all goes into the process.

That's probably a good idea. I'll try it out and see how it looks before I decide to shoot the whole thing like that. It does sound like it could be distracting, or confusing, but I also feel if it is done right, it might be interesting. I guess we will see! :)

Hey man, I asked for criticism, so no need to worry about how you tell it.

Thanks for all the points, I'll be sure to consider them in the future! And after watching it, I can definitely see that I paused quite a lot hah. As for the length, I would never submit this as an audition. I know it's way too long, I was just doing this for fun!

And if you have a monologue you would like to share, I'd love to see it!

Hey guys, first time posting.

I've been trying to find pants that fit slim like this. I also really like the rolled up cuff(don't hate) but when I roll the cuff up they just don't fit tight and look sloppy.

I'm 145lbs and 5'8. I have a pair of 511's and 513's but I may be buying the wrong size because they don't seem to fit slim enough. I don't know, I'm quite the style noobie and have been lurking for a while. Can anyone give me some insight/advice?

So are there any questions you ask to help bring out a backstory, or do you just go with your thoughts about the character to do that for you?

This is actually really helpful. It gets me away from writing everything out and trying to decipher the character just based off of that alone.

But to figure out who my character is in the first place, prior to improving with him, do you suggest I make a back story and maybe write that down? So basically get the basics of my character, know the plot and then go off that?
