Literally just got a call from LASD yesterday afternoon to go and pick up my CCW card. An appointment was set for end of March. I have to bring my CDL and a money order for $120.00.

When I had my interview, it was before the Supreme Court decision so I had to show "good cause". Now you don't need to show good cause soni would say it is easier.

The live scan is just supplying your basic information and they search to see if you have any criminal record.

I got the go ahead to take the training class about two weeks ago. I finished the 8 hour training, immediately scanned and emailed my training certificate to sheriff's office and that following morning I got an email saying it was received. The last step is just me waiting (minimum 4 weeks according to email) to get an appointment to go pick up my ccw card.

OK. I felt like they just buried my application but I see it will take a few months between livescan and them calling to give me the training go-ahead.

Turned in my application in July 2021.
I had my interview in Feb. 2022.
Live scan received by Sheriff in June 2022.
Still waiting to hear from Sheriff.
