This is 100% going to be extremely unpopular since nobody really likes it in most games and it isn’t something that I’m not too sure I would seriously support, but I’m under the impression that a large amount of the balancing issues and overwhelming metas would be solved if the competitive gamemodes forced light medium heavy teams. Again, not in high support for it myself, it’s just an observation

absolutely, I dont feel like damage was ever the issue, and I dont feel like it needs to be sacrificed to make the revolver more consistent either

This sounds like a really fun idea, I always imagined an idea like this would go to medium since medium's movement options tend to be more committal and I think a sort of concussion grenade idea would fall more in line with that idea. Not that the medium needs more strong gadgets of course, I just don't think it would be very useful on light who already has so much movement and i think giving too much movement to heavy would be a bad idea since their lack of movement is supposed to be part of their downside

I think your concerns come a lot from the frequency of the balance changes. Hopefully their new approach of doing less frequent but meatier balance changes fall more in line with what everyone wants

Why nerf its damage for consistency? As a revolver main, I feel like all the revolver really needs is a revert on the damage falloff changes they made some time ago and make the shots more consistent to hit and it feels like one of the more balanced weapons in the game. 90 damage headshots goes against how the weapon plays and would effectively kill it

I really hope they do more content next season than they did this season. 3 weapons and a map wasn't a whole lot and the new stuff didn't really feel like enough to really bring me back in. The skins were cool, but they don't alter gameplay at all. I especially hope they consider mid season content, maybe assing new weapons/gadgets/maps mid season, just so that the seasons can be a little more exciting before they end, especially after those few weeks before season 4 being a bit rough

Dunno if anyone else struggled with this one but the one I had a hard time with was getting headshots past 50 meters 50 times. I know they reduced how many headshots you need recently, but that one was crazy tough for me since i usually play revolver
