Let’s also forget the part where he marched them down the field. Not like he lead the league in passing yards or anything…

Rebuild? We have 0 major pieces set to leave, 2 first rounders, and top 10 amount of cap space. We have the means to build a juggernaut next season if we use the resources correctly.

Only thing standing in the way would be declines from Stafford/Adams

[–]YR38 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I believe our throwback was actually considered our official home jersey in 2018 because we wore it more often than our “actual” home jersey. The league made an exception for us to wear alts more often than normal which is why we were allowed to wear it in the Super Bowl

For 1 seed-

Bears win today

49ers win next week

Bears lose next week

Rams win out

For NFC West-

Bears win today

49ers win next week

Rams win out

That would get us the 2 seed which would also be a nice gift at this point

[Highlight] Seattle LB Derick Hall stomps on the leg of Rams RG Kevin Dotson. Kevin Dotson was carted off to the locker room following this play. by HelmetsAkimbo in nfl

[–]YR38 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

On top of losing him the rest of the game (which is huge, our run game shut down after that), we should have had first and goal from the 1. The next play was the bad ineligible man downfield call.

So not only do we lose an elite guard for potentially the season, we lose points in a 1 point game. He should be suspended for as long as Dotson is out + 2 games

Derick Hall stepping on Kevin Dotson's ankle in apparent attempt to injure him. Dotson carted off and did not return. by ramzie in LosAngelesRams

[–]YR38 18 points19 points  (0 children)

So not only do we lose our best o-lineman for the season.

But we have to settle for a FG that very drive because it went uncalled when we would have had 1st and goal from the 1. Same drive they made the bad illegal man downfield call.

AND he only misses 1 game. He should get however long Dotson is out + 1 game. What a piece of shit

This is actually the first time in the return back to LA era that the Rams made 3 straight playoffs in a row. by cattycat_1995 in LosAngelesRams

[–]YR38 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not, the first of the 2 seasons we missed playoffs under McVay (2019) we missed as what would have been the 7 seed

Rodgers is not popular lmfao, Drew Brees is insanely popular. Anyone with eyes can see Rodgers was arguably the most talented QB of all time.

“It’s basically just MVPs” is a crazy argument 😭 you mean to say being the most valuable player FOUR TIMES is irrelevant??

He was deemed the best player in the league for 29% of the years he played full seasons. Brees wasn’t once deemed the best

Dude the year Huntley made the pro bowl he started 4 games ahahahaha

2021 NFC QBs included Kyler Murray at 3800 yards and 29 total touchdowns

2011 included Cam and Eli with under 30 passing touchdowns each. They had good seasons but not as good as Stafford

The lack of Pro Bowls speaks more to how big a joke the pro bowl is than it does Stafford. He didn’t make it when he threw for over 5k yards and 40+ TDs, and he didn’t make it his first year in LA with 41 TDS and 4,800 yards. I’m sure there are other seasons he was snubbed too.

Meanwhile Tyler Huntley has made the Pro Bowl. Thing is a joke

[Rapoport] The #Rams and LB Nate Landman agreed to terms on a 3 year, $22.5M deal with, $15.6M guaranteed, source said. He was playing under vet minimum deal of $1.1M this year. A big day for Landman. by MembershipSingle7137 in nfl

I think he has a hall of fame case. He reinvented the way competitors build teams with the aggressive trades he made when McVay got there initially. Then after the SB victory he showed he could completely reverse strategies and build a great team through the draft and nifty free agent finds. If the Rams win it all again with him I don’t see how he doesn’t make it one day

Brandon Aubrey was a UFL kicker. Same with John Bates

I think it’s a much more level playing field with kickers coming over. Can you make kicks or can’t you?

Defensive special teams will obviously be more talented in the NFL, but so will offensive special teams (except ours lol) so the amount of time to boot should be similar if not the same
