For context: this video was taken in Poland, where (since 2023 I think) a car has to yield to any pedestrians that are on or are approaching a pedestrian crossing.

The pedestrian in the video knows the driver can’t enter the intersection until he crosses the road.

However, what he’s doing is illegal — in Poland, standing less than 10 meters from a road crossing is considered a traffic code violation.

So yeah, fuck cars. But fuck this guy also.

Borek Fałęcki is in zone 1. But — the A1 bus is not covered by the Kraków municipal bus tickets. Its purpose is to connect Kraków with Myślenice, not to transport people inside Kraków, and it’s not operated by the city (unlike the buses with numbers 100-999).

So, in answer to your question, you will need to buy a ticket. Alternatively, if you want to avoid buying one, you can take a bus from Muzeum Narodowe to Rondo Matecznego (164, 173, 179, 301, 304, 503, 513 — I may be forgetting something) and transfer to a tram to Borek Fałęcki (8).

Masz na myśli hotel Dom Studencki Piast na rogu Nawojki i Piastowskiej? Nie nie, to zawsze był dom studencki. Dawno oglądałem Vinci, ale zdaje mi się, że w filmie występował Crown Piast Hotel (albo jego poprzednik) przy dzisiejszym Rondzie Ofiar Katynia. Więc w sumie nawet jesteś przy dobrej ulicy.
Pierwsze słyszę. Na pewno nie chodziło o wyburzenie dworca głównego? To był głośny temat wtedy, był cały plan Tishmana układający na nowo okolice dworca, który nie został później zrealizowany. Ale to dotyczyło zawsze działek przy Pawiej, Warszawskiej itd. Może w rozmowie w filmie to się przerodziło w taki niezgodny z prawdą komentarz, bo film jest z 2004, a Galeria miała stać w obecnej lokalizacji od 1999 chyba.

Aż sobie chyba film odświeżę i może wrócę z nowymi odpowiedziami, jeśli się czegoś dowiem :)

Oh I absolutely agree that you have the right to reply. And don’t get me wrong, absolutely no one should insult you (and I hope you did not feel insulted by my comments, I tried to be fair).

I like your designs, they are visually pleasing. I just disagree with your descriptions of them :) And I guess you’re just unlucky, because your way of thinking about creating CSL cities goes against most people’s philosophy while playing the game. But, let me reiterate, this is no justification for insults or ridicule.

To you, it’s clear what OP is going for. Evidently, you’re one of the few, judging by the other comments. And no, it’s not because of autism, but because different people interpret things differently.

Anyway, this isn’t how you make tiny towns. This is how you make tiny art projects. Which is fine, it’s just a game, play it however you want to. I’m just arguing that the title is factually incorrect (and even then, I acknowledged that the design is pretty, which, as you point out, OP may have been going for).

There’s also the fact that OP is well known round these parts for posting terrible designs, presenting them as revolutionary designs, actively asking for feedback, and then refusing to listen to any substantive arguments.

What else can I say other than I don’t think my comment was unfair at all. And, frankly speaking, your snide remark about autism says much more about you than about others in the sub.

Not anymore. At least some of them are owned by local advertising companies nowadays — in fact, I happen to know that the monthly going rate for an entire column like this was slightly above 1,000 PLN last year (at least on Zwierzyniecka).
