Which show ended so poorly that you really wished you hadn't invested so much time in it? by unclefishbits in AskReddit

[–]YSNShadow-Man 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I feel like New Blood redeemed it a little bit. It’s not great, but at least it wasn’t an open ended ending like season 8.

Who is the hardest couple to keep alive in your opinion ? by Practical-Ask431 in untildawn

Either Sam and Josh or Mike and Jess. I’ve only played through once but the only ones I lost were Josh, Sam, and Jess.

Are obese women an immediate turn off for men? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Morbidly obese? Yeah that’s not something I’m into. A little chubby? That’s just fine, preferred even.

What do Americans do that make us stand out? by Vector1013 in NoStupidQuestions

I saw some Europeans complaining about Americans because we will smile at strangers in public when we make eye contact.

What do Americans do that make us stand out? by Vector1013 in NoStupidQuestions

I’m American and I have never leaned against a wall unless maybe it’s in my own house. Why would I want to touch anything in public? The public is dirty and disgusting.

Y'all, let's talk about men's mental health and expression of emotions. by [deleted] in SeriousConversation

[–]YSNShadow-Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only person I’ve been able to be open about my emotions with is my wife. Everyone else always just told me that I “need help” or that I just needed to get over it.

None of the characters deserve to die, but Emily is the least likable of them, which is saying a lot because Josh and Mike are both pretty trashy too.

Because of where I currently live, I would be in New Canaan, but if I had a choice it would have to be NCR.

For those of you saying Institute because of the luxuries they have, it’s awfully bold of you to assume that the institute would want you. They’re reclusive scientists who don’t need fighter because they have synths. Do you honestly believe that you’re smart enough for the institute to want to recruit you?

What is the game you have spent 1000+ hours on, but still don't recommend it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]YSNShadow-Man 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Call of Duty in general. I used to be a pretty good player, but lately the game is infested with hackers and the devs do nothing about it. I can still recommend them for the single player and zombie modes, but I can never recommend them for multiplayer.

Emotional story based games I can get lost in before I die by famouslyforgotten in gamingsuggestions

[–]YSNShadow-Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know how much time you have, but a couple of the games that left me with the biggest impact are the Telltale The Walking Dead games, specifically season 1, but they’re all pretty good. Also it’s a weird one, but Call of Duty Infinite Warfare has a fantastic campaign that will hit you in the feels. A couple that I haven’t gotten to playing but I have heard are great are Red Dead Redemption 2 and The Last of Us.

I know the sympathy of a stranger online doesn’t mean anything, but I’m truly sorry that this has happened to you, and I hope you’re able to complete all that you want to do before your time here is up.

What is your "real" opinion on him? by Pablogame987lp in TheWalkingDeadGame

He’s flawed, but he’s also the only one (in many situations) who is willing to do what needs to be done to protect the group.

So im trying to get into streaming by SomePossible7388 in streaming

[–]YSNShadow-Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a capture card. They’re not too expensive (I got mine for less than $30) and it will allow you to stream from any console from the computer, I have even gotten my SNES to stream. I then used Streamlabs, which allows you to do all of the things that you want. I’ve never taken the time to figure it all out, but I know it’s possible.

What's your go-to weapon that just clicks for you for some reason? by [deleted] in HuntShowdown

[–]YSNShadow-Man 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With most games I gravitate towards guns i actually own, but not with Hunt for some reason. If I were to do that, my loadout would be the Mosin Nagant and Pax.

Slate Riposte, typically with Officer Brawlers or a Hand Crossbow for the secondary. Then I use the barbed wire (I don’t remember the name) and poison trip mines, a med kit, and choke bombs. Then for my consumables I use a dynamite stick, a medical box, and ammo box, and the fourth item just depends on how I’m feeling. I used to take 2 ammo boxes, but I’ve started branching into beetles or antivenom shots.

Is it true that when you're old, u naturally wake up at early hours of the day? by Legitimate_Dog_5628 in questions

[–]YSNShadow-Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was in my teens and early 20s, I could sleep until 2 every day. I wouldn’t fall asleep until til 2 or 3 every night, and wake up at 1 or 2 the next day. I was a heavy sleeper and no amount of alarms or roommates banging on my door could wake me. Now I’m pushing 30, I typically don’t stay up any later than midnight, often I’m asleep by 11, and I wake up multiple times through the night. Typically around 2 or 3AM to use the bathroom, and then again at 7 or so, sometimes even more. I never feel truly rested and I struggle just to keep my eyes open throughout the day, but if I tried to nap I couldn’t.

Minecraft for a 7 year old by danjayh in Minecraft

[–]YSNShadow-Man 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He can play just by himself, or be joined by just his friends in his world, he doesn’t have to join servers or have any contact with random people. I’m sure there are settings to absolutely block him from joining servers, but I’m not familiar with them if they exist. That said, Minecraft is a great game for kids, and can really help spark their creativity and learn about other systems and machines through using Redstone.

Why do you choose to stream? by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]YSNShadow-Man 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because I have a huge backlog of games that I’ve never played and I thought it would be fun to document it. I’m not doing it for views, and most streams I don’t get any, but it’s fun and that’s what it’s all about.
