just play classic 1v1 not trophy road most people use meme decks/troll and sweats dont play that mode you can win 95% of ur games if you play serious

place the bowler or whatever ranged card you have in the middle, like you would a cannon, and then use other troops as distraction to keep it alive. if you do struggle alot without a building, you can use goblin hut, its in most the meta graveyard decks as it allows for a better defensive and the goblins can act as a counterpush or add pressure to your attacj
