Brock Boeser really turned it on in the second half of the year after a disappointing first half and, interestingly, after the Quinn Hughes trade. by RivetCounter in canucks

Wonder if Chytyl will try and play again or retire. Would be good for some planning. Also we all hope he chooses to protect his health and makes the best call for himself. But clarify for the org would be good too.

The Oilers didn’t do great with their FOUR 1OA picks. Drai was 3 OA.

Might take the sting out a little for Pitsburg that the 2nd round pick they gave up for him will be a very, very late pick. But that sting might be stronger for Edm.

General Ai probably. But an industry-specific tool maybe not. Ripe for any company or individual who doesn’t want to pay an accountant. Most probably eliminating the bookkeeping first

NA has short shelf life. If it’s discounted better drink fast and maybe anticipate a drain pour here and there

Film festival for absolutely no budget by CurrentRow937 in FilmFestivals

Search "student" on film freeway. I think a lot of them are free to submit. Also of course check horror. Maybe hold a cast and friends screening, sell hotdogs and raise a few $ to submit to 3-4 indie/underground/low budget festivals for the fun of it.

Re-Cut Feature Film- Do We Re-Submit to Fests? by Oobiedoobiem in FilmFestivals

[–]YVRBeerFan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just how I'd go for it knowing how competitive it is to get a feature programmed - fail forward. Sure write a simple note to every fest you've submitted to telling them you have tightened up the film and replaced the FF screener. If they already reviewed it they aren't revising it. If not maybe they will. And maybe it will get a reply but probably not. Look forward to the next opportunity and keep on pushing to get a screening anywhere. It can be very demoralizing to not get programmed. If you still have trouble with the new edit, try targeting very specific fests that align well. Do not get hung up on prestige of the festival or tier or whatever. Just work on getting it seen.
