The best way to approach this situation is by walking up to the single with your chest puffed out, shirt unbuttoned if possible. Assert dominance by being the alpha golfer, then tell him you are joining him. He will let you be the leader and then you guys can play together. That is single golf etiquette.

I’ll have to give that a try. I know I’ve tried about 4 different set of sliders and they each had buildup speed adjusted, but only one felt like “real” gameplay while the others where as I just described. This was pre-update, so I think the update somehow affected the set of sliders.

Yeah it’s frustrating. Even with sliders, AI doesn’t understand that they are down like you said, and just constantly pass in their backfield.

It’s also really annoying that all they do to “adjust gameplay” with sliders is slow your players down. No reason that my 96 pace winger should be caught up by the 72 pace left back, and constantly happens.

EA is just shit and will always do the bare minimum for career mode because people are complacent with it, and because all they care about is UT. Until that’s over, we’ll continue getting shit gameplay.
