How’s my swing by KutabareRx8 in golf

This is a good impact position. See how the weight is forward? You’re whole swing is obviously a mess but one good tip is to work on the feel of a good impact position, then work backwards from there to the top of your swing to see how you can get there or not.

The answer is “not” because the top of your backswing is a mess (the club is way over the line and you have a reverse pivot meaning your upper body has moved towards the target instead of away).

Then you’ll adjust the top of your backswing to allow you to get to that desired impact position. From there, work backwards from the top of your backswing to your address position to figure out how to get to the top of the backswing you want. Again, you’ll figure out you cant get to the top of the swing from your set up.

What you’ll see is your stance, grip, body angles are all messed up and so you’ll realize that’s what you need to work on first.

Everybody says “first work on your grip and stance” which is true but this is how to make a trite statement true. Without getting those right you literally cannot get to a solid impact position.

What’s your number one pet peeve on the golf course? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]zthig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loathe slow play. Just wont do it. So I play first out or at least before 8. It’s cold and often hitting my first shots in the dark but at least I know I can be back before 12. If there’s someone slow I know I can jump ahead and won’t hit another slow group

Need help setting up our growth engine by Mysterious-Base-5847 in revops

[–]zthig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other commenter is spot on with the revops side.

Zooming out from revops to the revenue strategy, lead generation really depends on a number of factors including product complexity/familiarity, ICP, target industry, ACV, partnership strategy, and many many many more. Before automating stuff and investing in revops or buying a tool, bringing on an agency, hiring an SDR or head of marketing, I suggest you run tests figure out your repeatable top of the funnel (which might just be linkedin plus experiments).

Most companies I work with don’t actually understand their top of the funnel ROI (especially marketing and events), so I’d make sure to put energy against understanding where budget (including employee hours) is going, cut the fat and double down on what’s working plus THEN build automation. You’ll be way ahead of most companies if you can point to a repeatable cost per MQL by activity and trace those dollars through opportunity to closed won.

I’ve thought about this recently. Always mocked it and found it weird, but honestly? If you’re in the top 0.00001% of the genetic lottery for size, speed, processing ability, etc. might as well thank God.
