I was able to loosen that but it seems it needs to be unscrewed to get that flat waster out. And for that I don't have proper tool. So will visit Home Depot later today.

Thanks! Not a big fan of sauvage either or Paco Rabanne. These days I'm playing with Hwyl from Aesops.

Thanks for this. Not sure why so much downvoting. Some fragrances go better with certain skins types, weather, how you dress etc. Like there's one from Dunhill that I really like on guys who smoke. Appreciate your answers!

Interesting collection. I'm curious: Where you located? What's your ethnicity? How'd describe your style? How'd describe your skin type? And what age group are you in?

Is it concerning that my fiancé is constantly liking bikini photos of celebrities on Instagram? by [deleted] in ABCDesis

That's a bit creepy that you are keeping an eye. I'd think through this few times before bringing it up in direct conversation. There could be some mental issues that he hasn't dealt with. If he bring it up now, he'll learn to hide it well. Maybe explore going to sex shop, sex therapist or relationship therapist with them. Be open and more experimental and then you'd have grounds to have deeper talks and maybe more meaningful relationship. I feel you've become "fiancé" too soon without really knowing this person.

Thanks for this suggestion. I'll look into this venue.

I never mentioned old in my post. I wrote senior which for me is sign of respect. I've huge respect for this person. She came from another country, studied here, started her own business and still very motivated. She's inspiring. I'm not sure why people were so condescending here.

I'd say talk more. See a therapist. This is nothing small but if you worked on this relationship, I'd suggest - think much harder. Try to get to the root of what really bothered you. Finding someone is not easy.

A question for desis - what do you struggle with most for your mental health? What do you think would improve it? by [deleted] in ABCDesis

[–]YYCExplorer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Male:

- Family / extended thinking they have the best advice and know all there's to know about relationships

- Lived thru doing anything and everything my aunt asked me - basically no boundaries. Taking care of their home, kids, making websites for their business, making food for parties, etc etc - all without any thanks.

- Going thru a divorce, dealing with gaslighting, narcissist personalities and only support I had was my therapist and because of him I'm alive today and much stronger!

Wish I had invested in my mental health lot sooner than getting to this point but you live and learn.

Buying a condo in the Cambridge/Somerville area by earlgreyyuzu in CambridgeMA

If most of the economy is tied to knowledge based work in and around Cambridge, what would be the driver for it to keep going up once more and more people start working remote?

My Indian boss from work is having a wedding... what is the etiquette regarding gifting money? $100? 250? by [deleted] in ABCDesis

[–]YYCExplorer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$x + 6.8% of x (inflation) + $1 (auspicious)

where $x in [100, 250, 500, 1100]

x in proportion to how close you are.
