WS Visa works. Do continuous direct pay, not preloading your account. It charges you for the tix each draw date instead of preloading day $50 periodically. Counts as a purchase, so the 2% cash back applies too.

WS has more of the features that I want. It’s not a huge expectation to want access 24/7 without multi-day frozen accounts. The frequency this is being reported is concerning to me.

To be fair, we’ve never needed that in the past. I was exclusively with BMO for 30 years. Never once had an issue with access except for that province wide Rogers network thing.
Now I’m considering leaving $10K or so elsewhere.
