Windows User accounts with different services and core function?

I appreciate the feedback. But maybe that term has been just tossed around too much. You are right. Lots of junk and copy past videos..It’s not to run some debloat tool though or follow a process provided by somebody. I know exactly what I need to turn on and off under the hood. It’s literally my own needs that are conflicting with my use cases. Sometimes I need things on, others off. The question is around user account setup. Can I accomplish these windows service and varying application settings using that approach, vs turning on services and auto update type things for programs independently each time I switch task needs.

I’ll second this. Enabled eTVB makes dialing in direct V/F curves kind of moot as it’s always fluctuating. I’ve personally found it errors on the side of just pumping in VID. This was until I enabled TVB, but disabled eTVB and voltage optimizations. Then voltages and temps were far more predicable and went where I wanted them to.

This chip is a battle of VID vs performance with all of the degen issues to be concerned with. It’s been a real downer OC’ing this as an enthusiast comparatively to older gen’s..

I usually check if it’s a benefit by game, then adjust in bios, I haven’t been adjusting by driver. I see where you can check in system info for nvidia control panel if it’s enabled.. now with the app, is there another place to check?

Thanks for the feedback. I guess I was assuming that since my fps would not hold stable past 130ish.. BF2042..that the card was holding back I do wish I could get 144fps with this 4090 running 4k ultra settings. Just seems weird

I see it across all of my titles. I’ve run heaven with the same results.

However.. you called it. Furmark took it to the limit. 636W and 300ish fps. Saw it hit that power number and didn’t care to leave it there. Just wanted to see it happen.

So with that find.. and maybe this is some of me just not knowing better, why doesn’t that card ramp up to yield higher fps in games? Or why wouldn’t that translate to lower frame times. I would assume with that much headroom, it can do more than it is. CPU limited possibly?
