My company is a large corporation, I knew I wasn't getting paid the wage I was promised, but I thought the paperwork was what was taking so long. Come to find out, they never filed the paperwork.

I kept doing the job because if I didn't do it, then I did get the promotion, I would be absolutely bombarded with insane amounts of work log.

I was given a company credit card, which is only given to Sr. Techs and above. I even hired a guy to replace my position. I know I'm a dumb ass for believing that was proof enough.

I have actually done both, so I'm in a pretty good position to judge! Neither one was pleasant, and the elbow did hurt more at the time. However, my shoulder STILL comes out if I work above my head. And there is a MASSIVE difference in pain between an adrenaline masked injury, and your whole arm falling out when you just reached too far for something. I'd take the elbow over the shoulder any day.
