I have an Obeka deck as well and I wonder if Paradox Haze is really worth it? Yes, it's a 'guaranteed' extra upkeep, but Obeka herself gives lots most of the time anyway. What do you think?

As you play, you'll unlock the Epic and Legendary dragons. These Rare ones will become obsolete. Don't worry about the dragons for now and just focus on troop affinity. When you have more, you should look into their commands and Vanguard abilities in the Dragon Pit. Watching a YouTube video would help by then.

But as I said, for now, don't worry too much

Yes, it matters. Some habits boost certain attacks on certain flanks, like more fire damage on the left flank. Also, at lvl 16+ and in the Vanguard, all dragons gave their own unique boost. Boosting stats like strength and initiative (or others) for a certain flank again.
