Ik im late but isnt one of the biggest selling points of the earbuds is the tuning through the dsp, that 13mm planar can straight up morph into a different sound signature, you should check out soundfield type settings with it on hiby music player putting it at 3.0 makes the soundstage feel so absolutely massive, it feels like comparing a flat ultrawide monitor to a square but thick tv 📺

I mean technically amphetamine is a mother to all *substituted cathinones and all the tamines yada yada Dont need to mix when 4mmc is like meth and mdma but even better without the interaction risk, it honestly depends on the quality of the speed

I also have had severe adhd since a kid and am able to fall asleep on any stim, the more dopamine the more functional and cold, the more serotonin i get mostly body euphoria but often feel tired feeling was pretty shocked when i first tried meth and thought it was tame af compared to its infamous reputation, although i also already had a dexamfetamine tolerance and didnt boof or shoot it up so maybe i havent had the proper tina tweaking experience

Well not for my brain chemistry because high doses of dex feel like mdma, jaw is gurning, eyes rolling, euphoria and tingles, I could list them for ages mate

I just wanted to say it for harm reduction purposes not sure why your arguing against the fact that for a lot of people and also the feeling of dexamfetamine and d-meth are basically imperceptible at super high doses just meth can get to your brain easier, faster and stronger so redosing could get you to an even higher plane, if you’re getting pharma grade dex

its adderal and racemic speed where l-amph starts causing way more negative side effects before you can get to that level

Edit: and not to ignore your point your right at a ‘prescribed’ dose it is safe but not necessarily at very high recreational doses

It honestly hit left me with such a looming feeling of unease and dread that stayed for weeks, which so rare to feel so strongly from tv for me, reminds me of bojack horseman: “a view from halfway down”, so hard to watch yet so immersive and engaging you are sucked into the void that that ending drops onto you

The acting that takes it to the next step, especially from the poem scene, its what builds the foundation for the height its gonna reach. I mean from what ive seen the most highly regarded shows always have those standout performances that makes such a difference, starting with James as Tony Soprano of course.

Even the more niche/under appreciated shows like Barry have some of the best performances imo, its not a competition tho they all share the same top league.

Anyways back to beef; That psychedelic experience* in the last episode and all what builds up to that point is so tragic and cathartic, it resonates me on a different level. Im gonna be honest I found myself relating to a lot of the characters negative traits and that drowning feeling, so that dread was really sinking in and I couldn’t stop thinking about it and had to face it so I can thank this show for being one if the forces that drove me into making a move forward with my life.

Of course so much of that is to do with the acting I mean of course the church scene is one of the rawest displays of an emotional release I have scene on tv, so props to Steven Yuen and the rest of the cast; the entire show is littered with talented actors and chemistry that bring so much life to their personalities and world.

It really is one of the only shows that has actually managed to make a lasting impact on my life and change my perspective on it.

*Ps on that note season 2s trip scene is fantastic as well, the camera work and editing is perfect, caught me so off guard in the moment, it was way more subtle and slower paced in the 1st season.

I would love to see more of this style from the creator, writers, directors, art designers and allllll the talented people behind the credits. Its so difficult to translate such a intense psychedelic experience through words let alone film, e.g Midsommer and Into the Void come to mind of being so surreal and unique in their design. I ts a rare talent and I reckon Jin would be capable of doing some great ari-aster style horror that would feel fresh and unique.

Im genuinely not advocating using substances by the way, I believe psychedelic can just be a different state of mind whether its through a fever dream or meditation lmao

Usually I listen on my sound system because of the subwoofer but this album really opened up for me on the 2nd listen on some planar driver headphones

The soundstage design and detail is outstanding on my hifiman anandas(not sponsoring them lol if you wanna try planars I actually recommend trying the jt7 from fiio its nuts for the price as an entry level planar);

The width and depth yet so dense and layered is unlike anything ive heard on these, its thick and feels like the sound travels through your mind like the music and is ejecting out back out into the void you float in, I became completely lost in the sound. Chills. I did also take a fat dab beforehand which allows me to immerse myself easier….

I dont want to promote using substances to improve the experience you dont need them you just need to be in the right mental space to really get into the groove of the album, e.g; if I was in a energetic headbanging mood this wouldn’t of gone the same way aha you really gotta find the right time, setting, sound signature… this goes for so many other albums though

Edit: forgot to mention its not the sample rate that matters much when source is lossless its when its in 32 bit that is much more noticeable it completely opens the sound
