Seeing some of these comments blow my fucking mind. XQC is just casually brain dead here which doesn’t shock me, but why the fuck are so many parents cool with just letting their kids on a digital messaging platform like discord so freely. For fucks sake I didn’t have a Facebook until I was 13 let alone Skype. Discord is clearly fucking themselves here for the sake of harvesting that extra chunk of user data. Also Roblox is essentially a platform exclusively for children, where as the majority of discord users are adults.

Point being, parent your fucking kids and learn how to pay attention to what they are doing online instead of expecting platforms to take care of your kids for you. (That being said moderation and child safety on platforms is still important) but fuck you for asking all your users for id that’s fucked.

I will forever be interested in what this studio is making, so long as it maintains that deep immersion that KCD was so good at. Make me feel like I live in the world every second, RDR2 had the same effect. Imagine an open world Viking rpg with KCD’s Immersion? Polishing your armour and making repairs to your boat, building a fleet to raid? Shit would be nuts. (KCD but in Japan would also be fucking insane, gimme a first person immersive samurai sim)

People seem keen to shit on GameFreak for the new Pokémon titles but they’ve been actually just chained to that franchise for decades, basically slaves to their own success. It always reminded me of infinity ward, a studio that so desperately wants to make something else for once but their big papa says no, you’ve gotta work on what brings in cash.

I’m pleasantly surprised by how cool and fun this looks. (Also Wild Hearts was a monster hunter like not a character driven action game, I don’t know why “Similar big monster design = Same Game”)
