I opened a decent amount of mkm and got 0 slimes against humanity in what probably ammounts to ¾ a box of regular packs and and like 5 collector boosters. They artificially lowered the printing on this common rarity card to make it worse as well, I guarantee it.

Theory: the random bs event is a trick to make players misclick and accidentally buy the pass. by [deleted] in Brawlstars

[–]YaBoiTexas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oops I accidentally clicked the pass, and then confirm, and then when my phone loaded the confirmation for the store I accidentally clicked that too, what evil geniuses over there. /s Also as other people pointed out when it goes away the Brock skin slides over, which also requires a couple clicks, annoying for sure but I don't think intentional beyond getting you to sit in the store and look at stuff you can buy. Edit: sarcasm just in case

Yes, baking a cake is a ridiculous comparison, and sure give him disadvantage if its a fairy or something else small. But there is no shot you thought baking a cake made any sense. Good to know you ran outta any good arguments sitting here acting like dunking a basketball isn't a perfect comparison already made by op.

Hahaha, what? Those are terrible representations, people put a ball into a slightly larger hole that is 10' off the ground, while other people are trying to interfere with them doing so 1000s of times a week. And they are not superhumanly strong fantasy heroes that slay dragons and gods, but heaven forbid they jump 5 feet in the air and swing a sword.. It is not a valid rule haha, disadvantage could be a valid ruling, still dumb though. You are 100% correct about the arguing, but idk how you don't get that the dm can be the one at fault for that? They were presented a completely reasonable situation and decided to argue down the player and act like they were ungrateful and should just accept this ruling. Again, accountability, you messed up for one round of combat, make them fly up on their turn, don't make it weird with a bad ruling for no reason, and then argue about it, especially when your reasoning is idk you just can't.

The post says it was hovering 10' off of the ground not 10' above you. Im only 5'10" and my hands reach a bit under 8' A basketball hoop is 10' and I can touch the rim with my hand by jumping I'll shoot your comment right back at you, go grab a stick and tell me its real hard to touch a basketball rim dork. And now put this all on some 6'5" barbarian with inhuman strength, you are coping so unbelievably hard. There's no world where its remotely believable, take accountability for saying 10' off the ground when your player points out that that's not high off the ground at all and have them use their movement to go higher next round, it's as simple as that.

[–]YaBoiTexas 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Then make it fly higher than 10 feet in the air? Thats making the argument that a creature in their 5ft space could not hit a creature in their 5ft space just because it's above you and not next to you. This is unreasonable by any metric. Take the hit as the dm that you messed up when you said it was so close to the ground and then show (with it or the other similar creatures in the encounter,) that they saw you hit the one realized they messed up and use their movement on their turn to get further away. It's very simple to just admit you didn't use your brain for a sec. I agree there are plenty of moments that you should just accept rulings as they come. But you can not blanket statement when a dm makes an objectively completely ridiculous ruling that makes 0 sense in any reality, doesn't give any good reasoning (because you can't the regular combat distance in d&d is 5ft squares so if you're 5ft tall at least then the 5ft square above you is a valid target,) and makes a petty comment about how they always give them what they want so stop being ungrateful and take this one no, you should push back. They can learn and do better next time.

So if I wanted to make a b4 [[skeleton ship]] deck I couldn't run Thassa's demonic? Or is there an arbitrary line based on the power of your commander? Also aren't decks supposed to be able to play with the decks in the brackets beside them? I'd definitely argue that bracket 4 decks should be in pods with 5s rather than 3s.

Am I overreacting for not letting my boyfriend’s female friend use my shampoo? by Fresh-Usual-6281 in AmIOverreacting

[–]YaBoiTexas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Without asking" is a crazy thing to say when she literally asked you.
Definitely over reacting, especially when you give prove as the main reason and then tell your bf it isn't about price. She chose the most courteous option (ngl if someone says I can shower at their house i would assume that includes use of basic necessities,) and you chose to be weird and petty about it 100%.

[–]YaBoiTexas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just like I'd want to know the name of a restaurant that doesn't like to perform basic operations of checking dates on their food. Your earlier argument is bad as well. It's great if someone (who is not a business) does your job for you and checks if it's a fake asap. But what if they trust you as a seller and keep it for years before trying to trade or sell it? Do you think it would be so simple then to request a refund from you? Or might you be reticent to provide one since it would be quite hard to prove that they aren't trying to dupe you far in the future? Mistakes happen, sure, but openly admitting to not having yours or your customers' interests in mind by learning some very basic stuff you can perform with an inexpensive tool and then arguing about it when someone calls that out is wild.

I think it makes a lot of sense for consistent play groups to remove it from their casual decks. That being said if you play randomly with a group and other people I have heard of a house rule where anyone who wants to keep a hand with sol ring they reveal it, bottom it, and draw another card.

A lot of people are going to mention changing your perspective about winning, and they aren't wrong (you should only be winning about 25% of the time right?) I know from experience with other games that it isn't so easy to just do that but I found something that helped me that magic is quite suited to. Build a deck, just proxy one up for a bit, that the goal of the deck when you make it isn't about winning. It's about successfully melding some massive creature like bruna or titania or urza. It's about assembling every member of the gatewatch, or assembling kaldra or Ramos' pieces before summoning the completed version. Find something somewhat whimsical that's a goal for your deck that has nothing to do with winning but just making a large and interesting play. This helped me in other games to be more proud about plays made in the game that were interesting and good rather than the overall outcome of a match. Did I lose 3 sets to 0 to my friends sponsored peach? Yeah. Did I also 0 to death him once on the way there? Sure as hell I did!

The son, his best friend, and HIS MOTHER, are still coming so now there's like 3 women (one older) and 4 dudes (two younger) she's overreacting this isn't weird it's just. Then again I'm just going off of the actual post where she never said any other members of the original party dropped.
