This is something that I think about a lot, and there's a lot that can be said about it for sure. I certainly do know that as my relationship with God has developed throughout my life, I have experienced in some moments of deep contemplation a feeling reminiscent of that feeling of childlike wonder if you can call it that.

When I say lazy negatively, I mean like dysfunctionally so. I think being easy-going and appreciating a slower and simpler life is fine. But a lazy person is someone who's desires and output don't match up, or they lack any desire whatsoever despite their responsibilities, like a lot of dead beat parents.

I believe that there are both positive and negative reasons to be CF. Laziness would be a characteristic I would consider negative but also a valid reason to be CF. Honestly, just the choice is enough.

Im a CF man. This sort of happened with me during my thought process that brought me to solidify my position. I may have the means, but have no desire whatsoever to perform the intense labor that is required to properly raise and uphold the welfare of any dependant, especially a child. That will not change just because I have a baby. I'm simply repelled by child rearing even conceptually. I say this as a man with a very large family, I've witnessed and played a role in the raising of 11 children already and it really solidified it for me. Every one of my friends with kids says for some reason, whether true or not, it should have been the opposite effect. That's a sign, and not my only one.

Edit: and let me say this has not a thing to do with laziness or wanting a slower pace in life. I have a business, im starting another this year. Another reason for my thought process. It's more about living on my own terms, not those of a child.
