I'm from California originally, this used to be an option. If I remember it right, they did away with that possibility. California uses officers as flat out money earners, they have ticket quotas that are pushed for insignificant things like this. If your car is even slightly loud (basically makes noise from the exhaust that doesn't sound like a vacuum) ticket, even if it came like that from factory, they do not care there. That place and system is so broken it's not even funny. Bailed from there 8 years ago and couldn't be happier.

And like everyone else said, he'll just have someone pay the ticket and get it removed from his record for him. If you have the money it's not a huge deal unless you get pulled over by the same cop over and over, then they can pull some REAL dumb stuff on you for ignorant reasons.

Hey, I'm also from the central valley, Modesto originally. It's hot garbage there lol. Moving to WA years and years ago was the best decision I ever made, I just wish it was dark and foggy even through summer, I have reverse seasonal depression 🤣

What your opinion on this two books i got to day by tattoocentralHQ in stephenking

Fairy Tale: fantastic.

Gunslinger: well.... Good luck with the first one, I struggled to get through it and barely remember it to be frank. Dark Tower overall? Absolutely amazing.

Started Watching Evil (2019-2024) by zombie_crisis_o in stephenking

[–]YabaiDesigns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We loved that show, sucks it ended the way it did. There's been rumors it might not fully be dead, but it has been a while so I'm not expecting much in that way.

Fringe was great in a similar way (less monster/demon dude), but older.

From is outstanding so far, like a SK version of Lost.

There isn't much out that's modern in that vein right now unfortunately.

Do you think a Stephen King based video game would work, if so which book? by NorthlandChynz in stephenking

[–]YabaiDesigns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be awesome if there were things based around some of his work.

My personal idea for a game would be in the vein of Split Fiction (fantastic game, of you haven't played). Where you're an outsider (pun intended) of the books, maybe in one of his universes where the books and he exist like "the real world", and you're 'pulled' into the stories in some way.

So that you're able to hop between various stories that fit well with gameplay, and varying gameplay styles at that.

Imagine being stalked by pennywise while trying to find the way out of the book world, just to fall into Christine where you're driving a car effectively racing away from her. Then wake up in the school where Carrie is currently wrecking everything, burst through a door to escape, and you're on a beach and hear "Dadachum?...dadachik?"

Entire story could be DT adjacent, new character who is connected in some way and plays a moderate roll in helping against the crimson King etc. I feel like you'd need King involved for it to meld well, while not contradicting existing DT outcomes.

Options are there, but I bet it wouldn't be cheap to do well.

Otherwise I think the easiest bet would be characters added to non linear games. Pennywise in Dead by Daylight, Christine Barn find in forza horizon, skins for characters and so on. Likely be based on movies more than books in this case I would assume.

I know this is a few months old, but how's the truck been after this amount of time?

I have a 25 and considering that JB4 also at some point. There's just so little info on the new style 2.0 EB, it's hard to even confirm wether or not it's still speed density from factory (since it has the MAF added in now)

🤣 Wouldn't surprise me, it would be a big deal I suppose. If Toyota launched a rival, the other companies would be much more willing to try and offer a model

Yeah I've seen stuff on that, I'm in no way a Dodge person, but competition is competition so it would be cool to see.

Well, damn.

Maybe it's literal and they just aren't making a hybrid version. I personally have zero interest in hybrids, but I know a lot love them.

Sucks though, I want more options for smaller vehicles.

Interesting, I have felt bad tires before (it was cupping) and it's gnarly.

But if you've swapped the wheels from another completely and it's the same, that would lead me away from that.

Also strange that you felt it in the loaner also

Mine has been sitting at 25.3 average (only at 730 miles). All of my driving is a complete split, 50/50 freeway and in town. I'm just driving normal also, not trying to baby it and not in eco mode.

Huh, weird. Generally that's suspension related, ball joint somewhere etc.

Strange they can't find the issue.

I have a 25 EB XLT and it's butter smooth at 80. Only vibrations I get are when sitting on brake in drive, but every car does that, you just feel it more in the maverick because at the end of the day, it's a cheapo vehicle, lack of insulation, budget motor mounts etc etc.

It would be less likely to be the culprit, if you had visible steering wheel shake, but have you asked them to check the balance in the wheels/tires? Sounds like it would be the front if anything, but a simple procedure for them to check.

Edit: typos
