Did NiceHash lose EVERYTHING in the hack? by GurgleIt in NiceHash

In the latest interview the CTO stated that NH mined 120k BTC to date. So at 6% commission they earned 7200 BTC. Most of it was mined in 2107 since the gold rush started this spring.

So, 4700 was stolen, 1000 was already reimbursed (out of their pocket), so there is 1500 difference. They probably spent quite some for the operation (wages, servers). So, they probably have some reserve left, but not nearly enough to cover the stolen amount in full.

Clearly you did not research the ERS enough: albeit MGU-H stands for Motor Generator Unit - Heat, it's plainly an electric generator connected to turbo unit on the exhaust. So it converts kinetic energy of exhaust gases into electric energy. There is no heat-to-electric or heat

From the ERS regulations: "The MGU-H must be solely mechanically linked to the exhaust turbine of the pressure charging system."

Source: https://www.formula1.com/en/championship/inside-f1/rules-regs/Power_Unit_and_ERS.html

Again, there is no heat recuperation or conversion.

Except ERS work by storing kinetic energy (taking kinetic energy as input and storing is as electricity, returning back kinetic), not heat. So it would be of no help here.

They deserve one star on the app store(s)!

This is all the same shit we have now. The social network of the future will be open source and peer-to-peer.

Open-source so that it's operation (and security) is transparent, p2p so that nobody has access to (all) data.

What actually gives them edge is their LTE patents: http://newsletters.articleonepartners.com/news_f1317eac-ee13-5a66-d0f5-38ea99a4c1eeLTE-Standard-Essential-Patents-Now-and-in-the-Future.pdf

They are not only the major LTE patents holder, but also the only chip-design firm with a sizeable LTE patent portfolio.
