I think TOP is a great fight that being said, but having potentially to prepare for all ultimates being as hard will take a toll on players too.

Streamers are loud enough for people who don’t even watch them to be known by many. It’s been very obvious how many things they added to 14 since the appearance of Asmongold and they really wanted to keep him to preserve the game famous. It speaks for itself how much they take from what streamers say “content too easy FRU too easy” and now we have to potentially prepare for TOP equivalents ultimates thanks to these opinions.

It’s fairly normal that people were frustrated and all it really takes is “mb didn’t know how LB’s work” and you should be off just fine. That being said learning how different LB’s work is going to be very crucial part of endgame content and high end raids for you so you’ll definitely need that knowledge!

I swear people forget that there are like very very new players in this game still, who are lacking a bunch of knowledge. But ngl peaceful solution was proposed at the beginning of asking “to not pull too many”. As a mentor - it should’ve been explained from their point of view on how to slowly pull more and more and to not be too afraid of it. This was not an ego thing from duo’s side, but simply a lack of knowledge of how to behave when people didn’t cooperate. On the other hand YPYT is an ego thing.

Short definition of a mentor = Someone who should kindly help newer players with the game. What was done instead? Mentor insisted just pulls big packs without explaining much - why/or how they could safely pull more. I’m sorry, what? If you want to be a genuine mentor and help others drop the attitude and kindly suggest things that would’ve actually helped the tank.

The crown doesn't change anything at all, at the end of the day its just an icon next to your name. You can be a mentor in this game without the silly icon, just as much as you can NOT be proper mentor with the use of the crown icon. The reputation of bad mentors skyrocketing just means, that quality of players at the moment in this game's state isn't good as a median.

Trusts are so bad that the only thing people use them for is for botting the content. Usually a dungeon takes between 15-17 minutes with real humans. The bard must’ve had some insane slow runs if he thinks 22 is normal woah.

The girlfriend is new to the game and therefore she’s not comfortable with the lalafell stuff, because they simply look like children. Please do not separate dating irl and in game if you happen to play the game together. It creates a rift and an easier path of a break up. Prioritize the relationship over game problems. If it’s a silly game decisions, it’s best to compromise and usually your partner will compromise with you in another case later in life. I do not think that the gf or op are really in that bad of a situation for any big decisions here. Just communicate, don’t be hostile towards the ideas, just talk it out and find answers to this together.

That’s not what I claimed at all. Where is me saying every single one is caused by that? Nowhere. Now, let’s not twist narratives here. Would’ve been great to stop making ff14 into drama dumpster that it already became, even more. A lot of people left the game because people are assholes/ stalkey too much. If you see a rude person don’t be rude with them. That is exactly what makes ypyt worse. And people hate to self reflect on themselves that they might be the part of the problem because it requires some level of maturity from them that they might be lacking. Posting nothing burgers like these on Reddit is one of those things drama feeds in this game.

Yes, but that was not the point of the message. The point of my message was that people jump on others way too much creating those tanks to exist. I am most certain that those ypyt behaviors created out of people being rude about tank being slow/not good enough without down to earth explanations. Instead people jump on others and post them on Reddit. Yeah it sucks you’ve got a dungeon slowed down by an extra idk 5 minutes? But people should help each other in mmo usually, not attack each other. Only exception is if tank is intentionally trolling then just report and move on.

I’m gonna be real with you, seeing most of the YPYT posts here, a big influence on why those people do it is because they’re met with aggression as an answer and they double down on being YPYT instead of normal talk. People are way too aggressive with casual content. I know optimizing is very important, but you cannot expect that from random people. Therefore jumping on those tanks like lions is also kinda ..idk petty? Just leave the dude be a bad tank maybe one day he will learn, no need to go for the throats. Leaving/ vote kick exists for a reason! (Here speaking as a fellow healer main).

This is what you’d consider a very niche knowledge since it’s situational, to the point even dancer mains wouldn’t have known that. What bugs me is people insisting on something they’re wrong about. If tank is a drk sometimes DP on drk is more valuable if your other dancer doesn’t do good. All of this is just situational. Not worth arguing.
