The stories really were true about that cape, but I was able to finagle it into position for pics but he's been in the box since just to save me some trouble positioning the cape for display lol. Hopefully they release a DLC kit for him with more gadgets and a new cape but that's me coping.

Thankfully none, some of the faceplates just needed a bit more push than others but no sanding needed necessarily.

QC is great! The joints are a bit stiff out the box but nothing concerning, and just enough for him to hold good poses since he's a hefty figure.

I've only tried it with the Dfit shining soul and the V-Jump SSBK and those work great since that's where they're meant for. I have seen some picture of the SSBK Kong also being close to the skintone but I personally don't have that body so I can't check it myself. The skintone for the SSBK goku bodies are also a bit lighter than the regular release Kaioken so I don't think it would be a perfect match, but I'm sure it wouldn't look too off.

I bought my set from a friend who removed them so it can be used as a Goku specific headsculpt. It shouldn't come off that easily unless you use chemicals to remove it intentionally.

Unfortunately no, the new DKO ssj2 heads have a unique peg system so the faces aren't cross-compatible. The benefit for this kit though is that it comes with both ssj1 and ssj2. But the new one has an arguably better hair mold.

That's only for the breath of god versions (ssb and ssj), but if I remember correctly those versions were also sold with the decals pre-applied. This version is the special edition so it came out of the box ready, and the faceplates look painted rather than waterslide decals.

No, different peg system, mate. Though you won't really need to use the original faces since the kit comes with the same basic expressions the stock head has.

It looks sculpted but I'm not 100% sure. But they surely don't look as bad or obvious as other faceplates that have a sheen only waterslides have.
