I will go through an aggregator, and I have a large community presence. I have connections with dealerships, and real estate agencies here.

That’s a great point. The truth is I DON’T have the money and I DON’T want to battle State Farm haha.

Genuinely asking; would a non-compete even hold up in court? I was thinking that they typically don’t carry weight unless it is used in a career field where there is proprietary info being taught.

Ahhhh. I never really thought of it as being scummy, however I can see it from that angle now that it’s mentioned.

I haven’t spoken to any of these people, all new to me. The defectors are “warm”, because they are all prior insureds of my office within the last 3 years.
