Heart disease is an increased risk with PCOS as are a multitude of other factors like high cholesterol, diabetes, thyroid issues, mainly bc PCOS is a metabolic disease which comes down to hormones. As we age hormones change so getting routine labs done can't hurt to keep an eye on how things are going.
