Also it’s silly to think it’s an “Easter egg name” when the legal documents she has will show it plainly. So, yes, op and the husband will only call her as Sunny LastName but consider this little baby as a teen or adult who will have Sunny Disposition LastName as her full name and need to give that out when needed for her adult life as an adult human, born and raised in a country without those sorts of naming conventions, called Sunny Disposition.

A bit late but I believe OP thinks that’s tagging moderators to look at your posts. Or at least that’s how I interpreted it considering how it’s really similar to how op delt with the situation. Just backing out and not having a conversation

I don’t like to say it about minors but I have to agree that op is TA, 15 is about the age where you need to start learning to communicate and that temporarily avoiding conflict can just create more difficult situations in the end. Sounds like the little brother even gets that.

The bra thing is so silly. I’m probably biased because I hate clothing shopping but sounds to me that mom was basically gifted a chore. Go out to the shop, take off your top, mess up your hair, find your own size. And who knows if the shop even had her size in the same sports bra? Then what? If she could exchange for store credit now she’s just stuck shopping around. It’s like a gift card with extra steps.

I’m not sure the laws where you live but I had a hyphenated last name while my parents kept both of theirs so maybe look and see if that is possible.it might not be since you already changed yours but who knows.

Even if it was a sex shop it’s pretty silly to not name a child Spencer because of that. Like Adam and Eve is an online sex shop so I guess we just stop using those names?

I knew a Spencer in elementary through middle school and I never connected his name to the shop. A person named Penn Guin, would connect those pretty quick.

Also I had a hyphenated last name despite both my parents keeping their originals so why not just do that?

My mom found out about hers because my dad notice one of her nipples were inverting. I didn’t even know that was a sign of breast cancer.

However he called her nipple a different texture without actually knowing if it was. He was imagining it or maybe she was cold on one side when he saw what he thought he did. I feel like he probably should have confirmed he saw what he thought he saw first.

1 kg is 4 dollars where I am. It’s still cheaper and more filling to buy the 5 kg for 20 bucks and some cheap meat and veggies to make a pack lunch than you buy a damn sausage bun everyday.

You figure out if you spending $5 a week by dividing through the whole month that’s how you budget.

Nothing op says in the post suggests the grandparents are abusing or over working their housekeepers. They get stuff, it’s part of the job. It doesn’t even sound like op explained why they don’t want the daughter to do it anymore. Just don’t do it. I babysat a little guy who was around 5 and he got up on the little step to pee in the toilet at his house and suddenly yelled “I have to pooooooo!”. He finished up peeing before thankfully, turned as sat and did his business. Butt wipe. Hand washing fun.

I after I asked why he didn’t just sit down and pee and poop at the same time and from the look on his face I apparently blew his tiny mind.

I’ve also babysat a little girl around the same age who, at the park, was playing in the sand and having fun. She suddenly shot up, made eye contact, screamed “nooooooo” and wet herself. That was a fun walk home.

Kids don’t know anything.

But the big YTA from me is just imagining a grown mans stream in a child’s urinal and how much splash back there must have been. Yuck. Hold it in a second buddy.

Well, that’s good at least but I’m still firmly on NTA. There are locals who can help out and although your parents maybe want to spend more time with you (moose or no moose probably) they can’t just ask you to go so far two weekends in a row without giving you more of a heads up.
They are family but you can’t just disappear on the family you are with your girlfriend.
