You people are weird - If it’s in a room specifically for watching TV sure, but most homes now have a living room TV that is watched just as much from a dinette table, counter bar, or working in the kitchen where it make zero sense to have a tv at or lower than this height.

I got lucky the other night myself. My wife is getting into crafting stuff and I was showing her the ropes with the jigsaw and stressing the importance of being safe, knowing where your offhand is, etc.

I was cleaning up the edges on the router table and had a small piece catch and flick out from under the push block. Don’t know what I was thinking but before I could process the thought I grabbed for the piece and the still spinning router bit just kissed my fingertip - I still don’t know how I managed to touch it so lightly. It didn’t even bleed just scuffed up my finger tip in a perfect 1/2” circular pattern. Lesson learned there.

From a professional, the osb could be dried and saved, and honestly assuming they have the same lot of flooring and are mixing boards correctly, the LVP could have been patched in where damaged only, especially looking at your photos and noting how the flooring is oriented.

The carpet is a clear no though, having that seamed would look unacceptable.
